i so agree with you girl, very well said, you spoke my heart! 😊

each and every word of yours represent TRUTH, the bitter TRUTH about the show! I doubt, how many will dare to accept it? coz i have read some replies and analysis, oh gosh, don wanna say much on that!😊

but u know something, ab naiyya dub chuki he, so m to just watching for my fav actors and enjoyin, without applyin brain anymore, coz the day geet forgave dev and left home, i felt like my fav show GHSP has ended😭, but hotty maan make me stick to the show😳, i cant tell ya, there was a time, when i used to love GEET😭, she was like a damn fighter and all that i wud like to see in a woman, but now, i think she lost her charm, and one more thing, i think, A MARRIED WOMAN SHOULD NEVER LEAVE HER HOME, EXCEPT for some URGENT and SINCERE and SERIOUS reasons, and i think, maan getting angry was nothing that much serious, A WORDS SPOKEN IN ANGER does not matter much, if you know the person, who uttered those WORDS very well, and love him lot! 😳

but you know what, girl, to whom i m explaining this thing ? people do not want to accept the bitter truth, may be they love geet so much and they love maan so much, and they wanna save our fav show GHSP, but one can not close BRAIN yaar! and discussions become fights and I HATE FIGHTS ! 😊

so, better to leave it, and APPLY A NEW STRATEGY, like me, just watch show for your fav actor and character, do not think much! 😊

I agree to each and every word ! 👏

Thanks for saving my typing dude ! 😉

U have put everything so correctly... Mere man ki baat bol di... How true....

I really cant understand this serial anymore... All charracters are getting on my nerves now....

Infact more than the main characters.... now I enjoy watching Pammi & lucky & tej....

Pammi is really sweet & innocent... I really like her role...

The most disappointing change for me has been Geet's character. This is certainly not the Geet I loved and admired in early episodes. In HP she rose from being a meek and submissive girl to a strong and courageous one. In office track she was a beautiful mix of strength and vulnerability, naivety and sensibility. Things started going downhill post marriage. Her innocence and vivaciousness turned into silliness. She somehow became an over the top, irritating and stubborn wife. Then came the MC,forgiveness and infamous Holi scene. Then walking out. I had no issues with even walking out. But after that it seems like she has disowned Maan forever. No regret,no attempt at even thinking what went wrong,no reflection. It seems like Maan is almost over for her and after some days of tear shedding she would move on with her life. I dont think Maan's mistake was so huge that he doesnt even deserve second thoughts.

Worst part is that in her refusal to go back to Maan I could neither detect pain or hurt, nor self respect or pride. All I could see was ego and stubbornness.Well I have stopped relating to her character for sometime now,so much so that it is difficult to believe that I cared for her most once upon a time.

totally agree with u about geet-i loved her innocence in the initial episodes-the office scenes, she did not come across as silly or irritating, rather she came across as sweet, innocent at the same time strong...............but don't know what happened after maan and geet actually confessed their love for each other-since then her innocence turned to over the top and stubbornness, which reached its peak after the wedding.i can't relate to her at all. i hv heard people call her the strongest female character on tv, well yesthe Geet who rose against her entire family to protect her baby, the geet who came to HP to start a life on her own-i admire that girl for her courage, indeed she was one of the strong female characters on tv, but this geet- she is anything but strong....she always choses to run rather than face and sorry, that is not a sign of strengt...........and as some people argued during her decision to forgive dev that forgiveness is an act of the strong, well, to love truly-to love so much that ur ego becomes totally secondary to u-is an act of the strongest-and this is what Maan is doing..............i will call geet's attitude her ego instead of self respect because she is just failing to give importance to maan's pain here-even after his apology on the radio, and again when they meet in person-she refuses to forgive him!well, probably maan's crime was greater than Dev-indeed to love selflessly is the greatest crime in the world and that is what maan did,and still does!she does not even answer to her relatives when they keep on insulting maan without knowing anything about the actual issue-yes,this geet is a stranger! she is definitely not the one with whom the show had begun!

Great and very timely post. !

By running away time and again I for one would never want to "teach" my spouse to realize my worth to him and how he wronged me. It disguises vengeance and emotional blackmail of sorts and is extremely ineffective method to address the root cause of the problem.
When you leave someone whether in anger or after thinking it thru it has to be the first and the last time you do that to a person. Doing it over and over again trivializes the message one intended to give if there was any in the first place. MSK has become timid henpecked husband yet says hurtful things to Geet even after begging her to come back every time..
Will he "learn" not to say hurtful things to her ever again? Time will tell.
