I felt -- about Geet not answering back to Beeji/Tej -- that at this point in time she is a little numb ..plus getting the breaking news that Tej went to Delhi to KM .. the shock was clear on her face .. and also she has been through a lot .. she is dying inside knowing that both her and Maan are hurting so for now she couldn't formulate proper words (as she told Pammi later that she hadn't wanted to bother them about anything in the first place) ... but when the time calls for it .. especially when Maan comes to her .. she will speak .. she may not speak right away but she will .. especially when they stop him from getting to her.
Hmmm .. you raise a good point Shivz about Geet's family and why they haven't asked about them .. perhaps they know/don't know the tensed situations that went on in HP before Geet left ... or perhaps they feel that they are able to take care of the problem itself considering how overprotective they are of her .. Tej says he is still alive .. so she needn't worry about anything ... but maybe considering Geet hasn't really told them anything .. she probably wouldn't want to tell her actual maayka anything either ... many possibilities .. let's see if they end up asking about them or not in the coming week ..
The symbolism was dead on! I love how they are showing Maaneet connected in more ways than one even though they are far away from each other at this point. Yesterday it was the fire .. today the glass .. they both are a way of showing the trials and tribunals Maaneet are going through -- and will have to go through in the future -- and that fate always has something planned for them both ... they are "dau jism aik jaan" and hence the way they are feeling each other's pain through these little instances...
And just one more point .. I wanted to just get this out because I still see people accusing Geet of not being deserving of Maan because she isn't feeling his pain or reciprocating his love for him etc etc .. I was just wanting to say that is absolutely NOT true. If Geet didn't love Maan .. then after hearing his radio message .. she wouldn't cling onto his picture as if she was holding on for dear life .. she wouldn't pray to her Babaji for her AND his peace of mind ... and she wouldn't be blaming her own ill fate for everything that is going downhill for her.. poor gal .. she has stopped hoping anymore. Everytime she wants to make things better .. things take a turn for the worse! Last time she wanted to finally go forward with Maan was after the Hospital Reunion after the Engagement .. what happened then? Dev's truth propped up and one circumstance after another .. Maaneet end up getting hurt in the process. They may always be bringing these instances onto themselves... but it is always out of love for the other .. never because they are selfish or don't love the other anymore ..
(I read stuff here and there .. not in this thread... and so just wanted to get that out of my system) :)
And haan Shivz .. I want Lucky to be a part of the reason that Maaneet have their Milan .. he is too cute and adorable .. and I just feel like going Haye Bechara when he khao-s daant from Beeji and Tej! đ
By the way .. who else laughed when they called Geet down and Pammi and Lucky come and Tej goes: Tumhare naam bhi Geet hain? ROFL! 𤣠Sarcasm at its best!
