I agree on both your points:

1) The scene was heartfelt and ADORABLE
2) Never seen it before in any other serial. GHSP Proves champion at innovation again
3) It WOULD have been boring to see him get there in just a car. This was definitely HATKE.

Adding to your points about her not going to her maayka ..

it could also be that they'd rather solve the situation themselves.. if they are shown as capable and worthy of handling any situation .. then what's the need of sending her off to her maayka as if to say "We'd rather not jhelofy your problems" .... so when a person is in need you'd help them like a true family should na :) 😳

I loved Tej's line: I'm still alive! No need to worry about anything! Wow .. that's what you call a brother!

NO NO I am not arguing whether they should help her or not. I am just saying, wouldn't they wonder why she didn't go back to her family in the first place instead of Bhatkofying in Amritsar all on her own? But shivani's responses gave me my justification to that.
