I just heard from my husband from Vankhede that he is happier today than he was the day he married me... 😲

It's all good... He said half the stadium had tears of happiness the moment Dhoni hit the six and they saw YUVI and BHAJJI crying... 😭 Haaye.. kya sama hoga hai na??? 😍

Wah wah ho gayi bhai!!! India ki to wah wah ho gayi!!!!

Let's start with post 1:

Yours is the only take I have read so far.. I mean the last three posts on the last page.. I haven't read anyone else's POV yet... so I assume everyone made fun of him for getting on the BIKE???

Sorry sorry Shivu - As much as my heart went out for him and I really felt what he was feeling in that 50 degree celcius heat of Amritsar, and know that he did this to show us all that he can do ANYTHING for his love GEET, you have GOT to admit it was HILARIOUS 🤣

As much as I didn't want to laugh I couldn't control myself... Bechare maan singh khurana ko kya se kya bana diya is Geet ki bachi ne!!

Remember that scene before shukran allah where she is trying to drag him to the Chhat?? And he pulls her leg by saying the above line.. .and saying "shadi se pehle yeh haal hai to shaadi ke baad kya hoga?" well MSK - Shaadi ke baad tumhe Jet plane se Sidha CYCLE pe aana padega

I don't know if the CVs themselves have figured out how much they know and how much they don't. I assume that after Daarji blessed the couple everyone came to know about Geet's life. Her marriage, and he pregnancy. I guess after she sent Brij to jail, everyone came to know she was pregnant. That kind of news spreads like a virus.

So yeah, if they know she was preggers, and they know that Maan still married her, they need to think deeper and respect Maan for that. But sometimes what happens is we only see what we want to see when we get too emotional about something.

They know Geet left home.
They know Maan is responsible for it.
Koi aise hi ghar chod kar nahi aata. Means Maan must've said or done something really terrible.
Geet - ek akeli ladki - from Delhi to Amritsar, all on her own in this wild world.

Punjabis are very protective breed and we know it. All they need to know is that the munda hurt her feelings, and all the positive he did before goes out the window. And once that gets stuck in their head they will stop thinking about aage peeche or anything else...

This will ONLY change when they realize how much Geet loves Maan, and how much Maan loves Geet. Things will change when Paani sir se upar chala jayega and Geet will not be able to tolerate Biji/Teji anymore and will start defending Maan.

Right now, they are just being a protective and defensive family that are willing to do anything and everything to protect this innocent little girl, Unlike her own family.

one loop I would really like closed is why they don't ask her to go back to her parents place. I know why Geet didn't go back home. Because she said so herself that she never would. But wouldn't her maasi ask her why she didn't go visit her parents?

Yeah that was depicted beautifully how much they are tadapaofying for each other.. They are yearning for each other's company. They deeply crave that comfort, that cosyness that they find in each other's arms. Maan said today "Geet, agar tum mujh se dur ho, to iska matlab meri kismat bhi mere saath nahi hai." Maan the believer of making his own fate has turned superstitious. But has he really??? He has in fact turned a "Believer". He knows nothing makes sense if Geet is not around him. Nothing is RIGHT if she is not around him. And he needs that warmth of Geet's lap back. He needs to feel that healing touch of Geet on his Cheeks. He is broken, by his own harsh words, by the fact that his ladylove left him, and by the realization that she left him BECAUSE of his harsh words. The symbolism of broken glass frame was brilliant.

Geet is in the same boat. She has reached a point now where she needs to be shown having a dilemma with herself. She knows her man says things and doesn't mean them. It happens all the time with him. She got hurt by his words. It questioned her self esteem. So she left him. Now he is apologizing. Yearning. And she knows it.

The symbolism here according to my interpretation is that Geet is slowly sinking in her love for her love. She knows she can't live without him. she knows he is looking for her and is in immense pain. So the broken glass frame symbolizing the broken hearted maan, hurt her. It hurts her to see her man, her Maan in that shape. In my view, the symbolism isn't Geet hurting because of his words anymore, I think she is moving past that subconsciously. I think this hurt is caused by the realization that she is inadvertently the cause of his broken heart. And that realization pains her. Just like Maan's realization that his words has hurt Geet, hurts himself.
