Recipe spoiled...new ingredients won't help

The CVs had a perfect recipe for this wonderful show. We were glued to this show every day. We could barely get through 24 hours waiting anxiously for the next epi. The recipe was simple 1 part Maan, 1 part Geet, 1 part romance and everything else between them just fell into place. Whether Maneet were fighting or locked in deadly eyelocks we loved it and ate it up. The recipe was working and we were all gaining weight eating up this show. (Like my food metaphors?😆) Each other character was just an addition to the perfect recipe. Adi, Pinky, Sasha, Tasha, Dadi, even Geet's murderous family never interfered with why we watched our beloved show. They were all just appetizers or dessert, but the main course of the recipe was Maneet, and we couldn't get enough of it. New directors, writers or whomever should never have tampered with the recipe. Keep the audience happy and your ratings stay high, your crew stays employed and we're all happy. We admired Geet's courage and integrity and well Maan's "whatever" worked for us. 😉 We didn't care if he was angry or happy, sad or determined, as long as he was in the frame all was good! Now you stupid foolish CVs have added all these new ingredients to the recipe and we are sick to our stomaches. Having Geet not only forgive Dev, but allow him to touch her is nauseating at best. Its too disgusting to think about. What happened to our Geet? Now Dev who is a loser to the infinite degree is giving our Maan speeches?! Are you kidding??? A sister came from out of the sky for Maan when all he had was brothers. Arjun has no passion to convince us either way that he is on NT's side or in love with Annie. These two were just thrown into the recipe like adding salt to tea. They just don't mix! Put them in their own show one day, by why ours??? All the other players at this point, including the lackluster Dev they hired, are spoiling our recipe. And now they are adding a NEW family?!!!

The CVs are really screwing with us! I don't know why they are doing this or what thought in their mind convinces them that this is something GHSP viewers want to see. I think Pavitra Rishta also airs on the 9:30 time slot in India ( i could be wrong). I just miss the old maneet chemistry now we are lucky if we get to see them in the same frame. 😭

O my God, i love ur post, pressing the like button is just not enough. while reading it, i felt as if i myself had written it, u voiced exactly how i feel. i still can't get over the fact that the cvs showed the holi sequence between dev and geet and geet left maan for what he said in anger and now r hell bent on making maan apologize.o, i can't stand maan's character being messed with!

What a brilliant post and perfectly explained the current pathetic scenario of the show.............u've described exactly the same thing what I felt.......am feeling right now after hearing the entry of new bunch of chars..........this CVs have ruined to the extent that even die heart fans of teh show also feel so disconnected to the show now...........

i agree with you and that dev track is like neem juice in the recipe and i feel sick with it .......and now its next to imposible to brin the fab tast back what ever they do the bitterness of neem will always be there

Dear, what u've written is absolutely true. No new ingredients can give taste to our delicious recipe which is spoilt by our very own cooks. But u want to try other recipes (shows) na. Dont ever try that. They are all worse recipes than our GHSP. In the long run u wont be able to swallow them also. Nothing can come near our old GHSP. We can do one thing. Forget our old GHSP. Watch the current GHSP as if it is a new serial just started. By then, atleast we can enjoy our GC n DDs acting talents.

Its OK dear. No offense felt. Once I tried to watch some serials. Tho' they started with a good storyline at first, i lost interest in them after sometime. So many villains, so many marriages for the leads,cant even digest so much negativity in some characters-may be i'm pursuing after 'feel good' serials. Somehow GHSP gave me that feeling. And after seeing GC n DDs acting skills, i dont think any other onscreen jodi can impress me that much. Sorry its my point of view and Utter madness of me! Tho' i lost my trust in CVs to some extent, I still believe that GC n DD will make this serial watch worthy. Thats why i wrote so. And i meant no offense by this reply dear.

No offense taken at all. Thanks for responding to my post. I just had to get it out, because I loved this show so much and right now I'm very disappointed. I truly want to keep my old memories, and that is why I will start watching when and if it improves.
