Nandita as Ritu says very well written...after reading ur post I don't know what to say....I have so far always been on Geet's side where the forgiving is concerned....but u have described Maan's feelings also very beautifully.....I can only add one thing to this...in their own way both are correct......

Geet has decided to forgive Dev only for Maan's sake, because she does not want Maan to dwell in the past any more and as he himself wants to make a fresh start to their marriage she wants no shadows from the past to darken their future.....

Maan on his side is also correct because his love for Geet does not make him forget what she has gone through...he has seen how much she has suffered...that itself is enough to make him hate the person who has made his Geet go through so much suffering....Also being a man of principles he can't forgive a sinner.....so from his POV he too is correct.....

The question now is...if both are correct from their respective POV, then who - or rather - what is wrong?....I think the answer to that is circumstances are wrong......had this happened in ordinary circumstances I think they would not have let the matter blow out of proportion......but here the timing is incorrect...at a time when they have lost their baby....(who both adored).....they have both built a wall around themselves..which they don't allow anyone to penetrate...not even each other.....

So if we understand Geet's POV and excuse her for forgiving Dev and treating him like a Bro-in-law, we should understand maan's POV also and excuse him for his anger ....under normal circumstances Geet would/should not have left the house and gone off.....but since it is the call of the story-line she was made to leave the house.....I think we should accept the CVs reasoning that they are doing this to proceed with the story and forgive them (along with Geet-Maan-Dev-Dadi and every one else and enjoy whats going to come...

As for u Nandita, all the best for ur exams and don't worry too much about the show or the forum...we write, we argue, we fight, but after all we are all one...favouring a common cause..which is the success and continuity of our fav show GHSP.....

All the best to u once again..Pray u do well in ur forthcoming exams....

well came back after reading some other comments..

as far as geet is concernced we hv seen tht geet doesnt understand maan the way he does..

n if u notice tht in real life this does happens...itw not always perfect blend from both sides in a relationship....one of the person put extra effort...n has the ability of listening the un said words thts Maan..

but u will not find this in geet...she never understood maan tht way...

she will take time..as when in holi epi he was slepping...she could sense something is wrong with him its not about headache or him being shy...

so bit more time is req...

Thanks Nandita. Awesome post.!

I have lost count of the number of times she has run away from Maan.. In real life if anyone did that they would have less than sure shot chance of coming back but here she knows Maan will come running after her so the consequences of leaving home never bothers her.

If MSK has to learn what not to say when angry, Geet has to learn to deal with Maan's anger situation without running away. In others words both need to learn to communicate and understand each other better than they have been.
