Thanks Azuu. I dont have a crush on Michael Douglas. There is a reason for selecting this particular film. Actually in the original version which I wrote for another couple (MIchi), the story is told in periodic flashbacks during the couple's 25th wedding anniversary. Since I wrote the story in 2009, 25 years back took me to 1984. Now 'Romancing the Stone' was one of the biggest hits during that year. Hence I discussed it. Since I laboured on getting the original screenplay of the film and fitting my off screen dialogues for it, I did not want to go through the same rigour for some other film when I thought I'll replicate the scene for Maaneet. The dialogues I originally wrote for the female lead fitted Geet's character.
