Yeah I still don't give my son any medicine prescribed by the doctors here without consulting his pediatrician in Bangalore...He is a gem of a person and has answered my calls even at the strangest of hours...He is in all my prayers and not a day goes by when I don't thank him...My son is still alive because of him....May God Bless him!!

My hubby too had a lot on his mind during this time coz he had just started a new job and couldn't get leave and I was struggling at Bangalore...but every chance he got in a day he would call me and give me strength...I had cursed him for not being there for me and his son...but he never reacted...he did what you did with your husband...he stayed calm.....and kept constantly reassuring me...Today whenever I remind him of those days ...he says that he learn that from me...He said...he did what I used to do for him when he used to have trouble at the office front or any other problems...

Well, what I learnt from this was that we were and are each others strength....when one is down....the other stands tall and supports the other and keeps the balance....And that's what a healthy relationship is all about....

Me too amazed by the commonality we share 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks Kavi, I wish him. Its very true that in a marriage one needs to be there for the other when that person is down. My hubby has always been my strength all my life and I guess I had to do my bit when he needed me.

Hey Opti fir of all wish the sonny boy from my side on his birthday and may god bless him with a very long and a healthy life ahead.

I was just going through your thread and just realised after reading yours and Panchjuns posts that issue which we faced were common. I moved from mumbai back to Delhi very recently and one of the major reasons was the docs there. i had such a harrowing time with him with the weather conditions not suiting him he use to have constant issues with his health (I ignored mine totally) The one fine day he got a cut on the base of his thumb, i thought that he might need some stitching up as it was quite deep imagine what the paediatric surgeon told me he said that he needs to be admitted in the hospital and would be stitched up under general anaesthesia and to my question about the risk the procedure would have he said that oh there is always a risk in General anaesthesia but your son seems to be healthy. So should not be a problem. As a parent you can imagine the tension I was going through and this guy was totally cool about it as if it is nothing.

However finally I didn't take him for the procedure called his doc in Delhi and cancelled the appointment. anyway by that time I had already received some 5 calls from this surgeons assistant to confirm and reconfirm the appointment, felt as if she is trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner, what follow-up man.

Finally took him to Lilavati (thank god for that) after waiting for some 2 hrs the doc attended and some local bandage and antibiotic did the trick.

I can't even recall as to how many times I came back to Delhi to get his treatment as everytime his regular infections would turn bad sometimes due to wrong diagnosis or sometimes due to wrong medicines.

I have so many instances with the doctors at least when it came to my son in Mumbai that if I start chronicling all of them I am sure I would be able to fill a whole book and he is only 3.5 years.

Eventually shifted him to homeopathy found a very good doc there and her medicines worked wonders for both of us and she only suggested that you must shift back and so we did.

If you are still there and ever need her reference or details do get in touch will let u guys know about her.

Now coming to your OS

Beautiful one shot opti actually I am going to ask even at the risk of being over demanding why dont you write an extension to this one with Maan fulfilling his promise of explaining things to Geet which he offered in the theatre

Thanks Ranjna. As to writing an extension to this one, I try to do it if I find the time. I'm still in Mumbai. Will be glad if you can PM me the details of the homeopath you are referring to.

Awwww, you have chosen 'Romancing the stone' as the movie here😲 I had a crush on Michael Douglas, no wonder you too had😆

Anyways, back to your OS....It's more like real than reel...loved the dialogues you have used ...the whole scene and dialouges are so Geet-ish, I must say. This is simply awesome!

Thanks. Yes, it is good Maan did not take Geet to a movie for she could have created qutie a ruckus! The private show they gave us was good, wasn't it? I enjoyed it.
