I wanted him to really feel guilty for his harsh words, and for making her feel so abandoned....he should have had a better answer for that than this flimsy dialogue: "Saach tumhein bata nahin sakta tha.. aur jhooth tumse kaha nahin jaa raha tha.. Par tum itne sawaal pooch rahi thi ki mai aur kya karta.."😡

LOL... i sort of expected this.... 😆

Maan needs to stop hiding things from Geet in the name of 'protection', she's a sherni and she can handle any situation thrown at her....

Maan needs to realise this in order to feel more guilty, and Geet needs to tell him this and stop worshiping him....

Was considering making a post on this but let it slip somehow. great to have you open this thread.
I have been forever against Geet victimising herself. Do recall each time Geet denies her feelings towards Maan. The episode ( 128 to be specific aired on Sept 30) where Maan asks Geet to show up for a date. She doesnt mince words in telling that Maan has better options to be his life partner- someones who's life aint as complicated as her and someone who is "pure" and doesnt have any "daag".
That was super trash if you ask me. She had long since told Maan of her fake marriage, the cheat and the ignominy she her to suffer on that account ( episode 120). Why did she have to project such a lowly opinion of herself? Otherwise she has always held on to her pride and dignity, swabhimaan as she calls it quite often. Was that done to glorify Maan's character. That a man was accepting of a woman despite what society would call a " daman mein daag"?
Episode 86, when Geet follows Maan around the dragah like a lovelorn lost puppy she was clearly head over heels in love with him. But by episode 104 when Maan forces her to pretend to be his fiancee she tells him, she doesn't want to pretend as she doesnt want him to be snowed down under the weight of her complicated life.
That's some more in the bin.
Clearly by the time these incidents happen on the show Maan has known Geet enough. Even without him acknowleging it, rather in denial,he was in love with Geet during their on and off run in's at Hoshiyarpur. Infact CV has a major goof up there. In episode 17 when Geet runs into Maan while looking out for Dev at the lodge where they take shelter from the rain to spend the night, Geet is dressed as a newly wed. And still in the later episodes, he only remembers Geet asking his help to sneak off a man friend. How convenient! He remembers every other details about Geet but not that she looked every inch a married woman when he met her that night.
Time and again on the show Geet feels sorry that she hasnt done enough for Maan as much as he does for her. That she has only given him problems and brought him miseries , that she has never given him any happiness , and thereby Maan is never at peace. Such scenes are more in number than the ones where Geet asks Maan to prioritise his happiness over her.
It all seems part of a bigger propoganda to want to deify Maan and such voluntary admissions by Geet a subtle means to serve it.
Maan's character too has been diluted to a great extent and purposefully so, to portray that love brings about such sea changes. So our angry young man at his aggressive best still roars but is toned down to a great extent.
I can't get my head around what CV really wants to say. Clearly they are confused bunch considering the mixed signals they transmit. The show is titled "Geet...HSP.." and was promoted as a woman centric show and now it has gradually evolved into a one man show where Maan is nothing short of God himself. Geet is more like the arm candy we have come to love so much. DD's acting abilities is the only reason she commands as much respect/ love/fame as GC does. Look at it this way, MSK's character has for the last 100 episode shaped as a knight in shining armor in pursuit of the damsel in perennial disaster. And for good measure the visuals of such a fairytale was sold to the audience in name of fairytale wedding..refering to Maan coming for Geet in the safed ghoda and chaand ke paar chalo dialogbaazi here...
Maan mustve said a 100 times over on the show that Geet was a chalti phirti disaster and needs a man by her side always and needs to be taken care of always. By making that repetitive its almost imprinted in the psyche of the audience that Geet does need Maan by her side always.
Now with the " sacrifices" he is making for the baby that is biologically not his and by exercising restraint his character is being put on a pedestal as if to worship the very ground he walks on.
And hence the never ending "i m sorry" from Geet. And to think us audience actually buy them and fall for it every single time. I for one take it in my stride as its only a tv show, a fiction, the ongoing of which is not under my control.
Holy crap!!
Why can't CV portray two imperfect individuals falling in love with each others foibles? It's what sane people do in real world. It's a Tv show at the end of the day that has to run 6 days a week and even rake in the TRP's.
You and I voicing our concerns is not exactly what matters to CV does it? If I cant change something I might as well adapt to it ( strictly in context of the show only).

but then it got a bit repetitive, she should have taken a stand and told him that, he was wrong in the way he handled the situation, she needs to tell him that she isn't a mere weakling, and that he needs to confide in her rather than hiding things thinking that she won't be able to handle it...

so what if he never meant his harsh words, they shoudn't have been said in the first place !!!!!

Exactly Nadz....Very True....

This is why it becomes way to obvious ki Maan once again has been restored to his DEMI-GOD status....

Why Make Geet apologize so much and that to for question him, because its his very actions that made her question him in the first place.....

Acha chalo she felt bad she even asked that question to him, so apologize kiya and then she should have talked about it...

And because the topic was brought Maan also should have been shown telling how helpless he felt that day for not being able to tell her the truth, He had said those words to her but with every word he uttered he himself was being torn apart.....That for every tear that she shed he was dying a 1000 deaths but no.....aisa kuch bhi nahi hua

Geet needs to stop thinking of MSK as MaanGod

MSK needs to get out of his Hero Complex

both need to sit down and COMMUNICATE!!! They need to talk about the issues and point out where the other was wrong! MSK was wrong when he said that aish - o - aram part .... Geet should point this out to him even though she realizes he didnt mean it ...

The end doesn't always justifies the means

Whoaaa what does that mean????

Dont you feel if she is silly enough to think that Maan dosen't love her anymore.....its got to do with his weird actions and dialogues to her????? He Made it quite apparent that she had no other choice but ask him about it....

Let me state an Instance...After the Varmala...Maan churofy Geet from the Crowd to spend some moments with her alone.....Geet makes a statement there which goes something likethis "Waise ek baat kahoon Sangeet tak mujhe bohat darr laga tha ke Shaadi ke baad humara rishta badal jaayega
aur maine suna bhi hai aksar shaadi ke baad log badal jaathe hai...magar mujhe khushi hai humari aadi shaadi ho chuki hai aur aap ab bhi waise hi hai...."

A girl who said this , if has to ask Maan "Do you not love me anymore" in just 2 days...wasn't he giving her the benefit of Doubt???

Yep, he didn't show much guilt or remorse, and the main reason he may not have shown this is becuase he genuinely thought he was protecting her from the truth and that he had no other options but to deal with it in the way that he did...

which is utter crap in my opinion, of course he had other options, he should have gently explained the situation to Geet, i still fail to understand how he was protecting her by hiding the problem in the first place 🤔

exactly you r right dear. The Cvs have made Maan not just mahan but MAHAN all of a sudden. I mean no guy is sooooooo great in todays world to sacrifice everything for their love sake. At first i loooved it when Geet used to say "app itne ache kyun ho...." and then started liking it but today i didnt like it. It seemed tooo fairytale type..Maan isnt GOd and how could they forget what nasty words he said to Geet????he just apologised alittle while Geet was apologising every 2 secs😕

I totally agree with everything you have said above....it is absolutely true. Again in today's episode...i thought it was so illogical for her to go literally RUNNING to Maan....her Bhagwaan. When the doctor told her that she had asked Maan to maintain the distance for the safelty of the baby...Geet's only reaction was to humble herself yet again to Maan....but not once was it shown that she WORRIED for her baby. I mean it must be serous...her child's life must be in danger, yet GEET is shown only to be concerned with the sacrifice the Maan is making...not he potential DANGER that this baby who apparently is her first priority...supposedly over Maan...so what happened yet again. The CVs hyped Maan's sacrifice of a SR....not Geet's concern for her baby!!
