I have lived my life since a child, watching English movies and serials and so have not been able to figure out why people make a fuss abt intimate hugs and kisses and an intimate scene in bed even if its not sexually pronged.
As I grew up, I began to feel a lot more shy, trying to categorize people as adults, youth and children, while watching intimate scenes.
The enviornment has a lot to play in all these bold displays.
In India, the scenes are more tantalizing, with more sexual overtones, pat on creating a sexual fervour and then bang - nothing happens. Then audiences want more and more and more....
In the european or american set up - its more forthright and done with.
What do the audiences want?? I think a lot of Indians would like to believe they are traditional but weirdly secretive about their sensual desires which are full blown yet unrevealed. These want the first kinda happening.
The youth would like more explicit and bold scenes and done with.. And move on ....
Both want it in 2 different ways.
CVs know their audience thru forums, fbs etc. And they give it as required. I love a hot stolen kiss, but not too much of it displayed. All depends on the content and storyline of the serial.
