Why should it be complicated? One brother has lost all his rights over the child the day he left Geet at the airport. In fact the very fact that he conned her out of her property and into sleeping with him without really marrying her but making her believe she is, is enough of a reason why he has absolutely no claim on the baby now. Lending a sperm and that too unintentionally does not make him a father.


If you are talking of Indian soaps, let me tell you that much bolder themes are being shown in many of the shows. There is this show in Star Plus called Behenein where one girl marries her insane sister's husband in order to mother the sister's child. The sister meets with an accident and is presumed dead. She later resurfaces (now cured from insanity) but pretends to be someone else because she does not want to come in between her sister and her husband who have in the meantime consummated their relationship and are happy together. She marries the guy who had saved her (without actually legally divorcing her first husband for obvious reasons). She later finds that this guy is a killer. The guy gets locked up but not before he blurts the truth about her identity to her sister. Now both sisters are in the same house with one man who is their husband and one baby, which one mothered and the other raised. So is this any less complicated?

I don't know how many here watch "D Bold & Beautiful " American long running soap opeara...whr I seen this kinnda relationship....Of course American culture is vast differ then Indian culture...Still today for Indian...Marriage is like Holy institution btn two ppl...two familes....!!!!!

I don't see how you can compare this show with a show like "Bold and the Beautiful' where incest and immorality is common. Yes, here two brothers have been/will be with one woman. But that is the story. Does the removal of the baby change that fact? Why should Maaneet marriage be any less sacred if the baby stays? A miscarriage will give it sanctity which it would otherwise not have? Where is the logic here?

I m happy with this kinnda twist..@Least now We can see PURE MAANET & their FAMILY ratther then Trio or something else....

Again, how is purity in Maaneet relationship restored by getting rid of the baby?

Rommance :- Rommance can be done in any situation...just look on d current prospect whr Geet's Miscarriage just imagine wat truma she will be going through...@ that time IF her MAAN Is there & give boost of Marriage...............Alihaaa...that's kinnda rommance is gonna mimblowing...

You think that a woman will be up to romancing her husband right after a miscarriage? Especially if she loses the one being she was even willing to risk her life? You are right, Geet will go through tremendous trauma. Has she not gone through enough so far. Do you think Maan will not be in trauma after this? His inability to save the baby will kill him. So how can he be a support when he himself is a broken man?

I already mention little bit about "Hay Baby" chetper on FB but then allow Baby also as it's justic part for GEET...I repeat JUSTIC..not inaugural part of Story.....


Are we seeing the same show? The baby has always been an integral part of the story. Even recently it was instrumental in snapping Maan out of his ego ride and rush to Geet's side. Is it not sad that the baby is used and abused all along and now trashed out so unceremoniously?

One can be practical even with the baby scenario.

Anyway, I was only reacting to your POV. I'm sorry if I came across strong but then the comparison of this show with Bold and Beautiful ruffled my feathers I guess.
