Very good ideas to promote GHSP BUT my question is that for viewers like me who are out of India & do not get StarOne...v have to watch it online....SO another thing that shud b done is tha ONLINE VIEWERSHIP shud b counted into TRPs...I mailed the TAM people few times but haven't gotten any response...Also somehow the Series director, story writer must b contacted & they shud b promoting GHSP....Maybe Gurmeet & Drashti can travel to different regions of India --like they went to Lucknow....Both GC & DD shud travel & together sell their show....that will definitely help a lotttt....This waht I feel....I wonder why the producers of the show r not even trying to sell their show by not advertising, marketing the chemistry of GC & DD....WHY ???? Somehow these questions shud be foremost addressed by the creators of the show....rest will follow....😊

Don't get me wrong....I'm a a BIG MAANEET fan & I do comment on their profiles I'm trying my best to get people hooked to the show by constantly talking about it....BUT I just feel that the major responsibility lies with the producers & creators of the show...I will try to contact the numbers that u have given & send requests to SBB, SBS, TellyTadka to cover GHSP & show us interviews of the cast....So All Aboard....Halla Bol....😊

As many here, even I do live outside India so can't help much with TRPs. Although I've family in India, they are non Hindi speaking ppl, but they do switch on SO at 9.25 and they continue their work 😆.. so I'd say even if you don't understand the language or are busy, just switch on Star One and do what you've to do, but you'll miss a wonderful show [:p]

We do have many coolbies/Dev Team coming from different forums, I think thse members should use Maaneet siggies/avis, especially display pic so that even those who have the option disabled can see the pic. Written/Video Updaters from other forums should do the same.

Oh and even when you are chatting abroad ( I mean in other forums/chat clubs), just mention Geet in your comments atleast once. Tht's wht I used to do on PR forum and many PRians do watch Geet now.

Edit add :

Those who have an account on Youtube can equally promote Geet as Star One channel since it was more viewers than the channel itself 😆. Like when they do upload a VM/segment/scene of their favourite/another show.. they can start off with a Geet pic for like a second or two, evn better insert a small Geet banner in it throughout the video.. the background/theme of their account can also be a pic of Maaneet..

Will add more if I get more ideas..

I think we also need to get the channel interested in Geet again...I understand that they just launched 2-4 new shows...but they can't just dump Geet- their highest trp raker.

I mean we have had absolutely no promos, precaps or anything for the last couple of weeks- before this new promo came out. Its almost like they are deliberately sidelining Geet!

Can we bombard them with request for greater airtime for Geet promos..

I feel earlier we the viewers were always excited on Friday evenings about whats going to happen on Monday- either due to the promo or the precap!

Loved the idea but the whole issue i face here i live in a city where people dont understand hindi and worst is if i talk about watching hindi shows i just get a hmmm..thats all..

I juat have enquiry..do the TRps matter even during the breaks..i mean now i days all that i get too see on star 1 is that PKYEK and DLMH promo..imagine that..so..if it makes a diff i will watch it..but i just wanted to know..

Bt looks like star has started promoting geet again...we had the promo twice during the half hour of geet during the repaet at 11:30..so thats better..i saw the promo of geet released on 16th only on 17th evening..so thats a big diff..

Thanx for creating this much needed topic anj and thanx for the informative posts anj, bri, arwen & nabz. 👍🏼

Now I'm not too sure if this is a feasible idea or not but along with online viewership isnt it possible for the creative team to take the TRP's into a/c from overseas viewers too.

For e.g. many people in UK and especially Asian populated areas such as London, Birmingham, Manchester (the major cities) have access to Star One on their Sky Digital and Im pretty sure a lot of people watch the show. And even if they dont, once we have a vague idea abt international TRPs, steps can then be taken to promote GHSP globally.

The other day I was out shopping and there were huge hoardings in the shopping centre promoting an indian show and auditions for some cameos were also going on. In addition, I have also seen banners promoting indian shows on buses and roads so I believe it is becoming a norm here as there has been a huge influx in the asian population in recent years.

Plus if other shows can take these incentives abroad then GHSP can certainly take these incentives in India initially before they can start building their promotional campaign across the globe. I am sure they will get huge support considering they already have a massive fanbase of 81K+ fans on their fanpage and it increases every hour or so.

So lets show the world that GHSP is indeed a wonderful show not only targeted at young audience but a range of ages since a lot of mummies and grannies also watch it 😉

GhSP is our jaan- e all love the show and wish for it to continue! Right!

So in GEET style- halla bol!!

Lets contribute in all different ways that we can- tell friends about it- i managed to convince quite a few in college!!

Am working on the teachers now ;)

The show deserves to be on top so lets get n keep it there!!
