Suhaag Raat - SS

Hey guys! It's Sameeha and I'm back again with a new UPDATE! I am a Muslim and I don't know ANYTHING about Hindu weddings and what happens afterwards. I have just learned this stuff from watching serials. If I have made ANY mistakes on the wedding/after wedding please forgive me and do not take offense! Enjoy!

Chapter 2

Geet woke up with a start. She took time to find out where she was. She looked around the room and smiled. Geet then looked at her position. Maan's hand was around Geet's waist and Geet was sleeping on Maan's chest and both were completely naked. Geet also saw last night's wedding attire scattered all over the floor. Geet felt embarrassed and blushed.

Geet: "Babaji, today is the first day after my wedding. I hope everything goes well today" she thought.

Geet took the bed throw and covered herself up and went to the wardrobe and picked out a red Saree (http://i51.tinypic.com/9h55jp.jpg) and headed off to the washroom.

30 Minutes Later

Maan's sleep got disturbed from the sunlight peeping through the curtains. He looked at his side and found Geet gone. He wondered where she was but then saw Geet sitting at the dressing table.

Maan: "Good Morning Sweetheart!" said Maan while covering himself with the duvet.

Geet: "Good Morning Maan. How was your sleep?"

Maan: "Amazing. You look beautiful Sweetheart" said Maan while walking to the washroom.

Geet blushed.

10 Minutes Later

Maan came out of the washroom and saw Geet walking out of the room.

Maan: "Hey Geet! You forgot something!" he shouted while looking at the Mangalsutra.

Geet: "Your out already? Anyway, what have I forgotten?"

Maan picked up the Mangalsutra and tied it around Geet's neck and kissed her neck.

Maan: "You don't look beautiful anymore. You look stunning." he whispered into her ear.

Geet blushed and ran out the room feeling shy.

Geet walked down the stairs and seeked Daadi's blessings.

Daadi: "God bless you Beta! I was about to come upstairs to tell you something. After a wedding, the bride has to prepare something for the first time at her new house. You need to prepare Kheer (Sweet Yoghurt Type Dessert)"

Geet: "Okay Daadi!" said Geet while walking to the kitchen.

At the dining table

Dev: "This Kheer is tasty" said Dev while kissing his fingers

Vicky: "This Kheer is the tastiest Kheer I have ever tasted! I want more but there's none left!" Vicky pouted.

Maan: "Vicky, you've already put on some weight. Please stop eating alot. You've become so greedy. No-one is going to get married to you if you keep on eating like this" said Maan in disbelief.

Dev and Daadi and Naintara snorted.

Geet came from the kitchen bringing a second helping of Kheer.

Geet: "Maan, stop being so mean. If he wants to eat more, he can eat more if he wishes." said Geet while putting in Kheer for everyone for the second time.

Maan: "By the way Geet, this Kheer is tasty but not as tasty as you" winked Maan

Naintara: "Oh la la"

Geet blushed as she sat down at the dining table beside Maan.

Maan got out something from his pocket.

Maan: "Geet, pick a ticket. Any ticket"

Geet and everyone was surprised at this sudden action by Maan.

Geet: "Um, okay" said Geet while picking out a ticket.

The ticket read:

"Ticket to Paris from India at 14th November at 1:00pm, Private Jet for Mr and Mrs Khurana. Please head to Terminal 5 to proceed to the Private Jet."

Geet was shocked.

Geet: "I've always wanted to go to Paris!" said Geet excitedly

Geet and Maan were both very excited and the whole family is happy that they are going for their honeymoon, but nobody knows what destiny has in store for them.
