Sandipa Thapa @CV's & Swati- Overall liked the episode and the way it was headed. You guys did laythe foundation for Geet's groW*H in personality which all of us were longing for!
We told you we liked the pace does not mean that you ate the whole week in reel life leaving us confused. I would have loved to see that week of pain, anger and remorse and over all self analysis of both the lead characters.
There was no continuation which created confusion; the scene starts where Geet is in Meera's bedroom getting ready to go somewhere. Meera gives us the verbal explanation the it has been a week of separation. Other side Dadi tells how Maan has not eaten well for past one week. After both the scenes we were forced to understand that both of them had difficulty dealing with separation and confirming they still have big ego!
@ Swati – Why there is so much rush for the story to move in such a pace? The fans do not like the separation does not mean that we do not want to know ..
1. What happened to Dev's two hour bail out? Did Dev say anything to MSK regarding his confrontation with Geet?
2. How did Meera react to Geet's side of story? Did she do anything?
3. How did Yash located Geet as she was heading towards Indian Paints?
4. How is dadi reacting after Geet left? What happened to media..they just stopped following after Geet's confirmation.
With all these questions in mind we move forward to the first scene: where Geet is getting ready to go to work with her bag and remembers MSK's dialogue that how will she survive without him? Then we see a glimpse of Shasha making Geet realize how much she needs to stand on her own feet not just for MSK but for the world and people like Shasha who never consider her a worth.
On the other side MSk is also getting ready and remembers what Geet told him…how she does not need any support from anyone to prove her right! Her words to media outrage him not because she accused him but she told them that she does not need any support and will on her own.
@Swati or Barry - Good to see MSk corrected himself by saying how Geet will live without him not "Survive" Thank you for making him human not god!
Love & Ego:
For both of them have been blinded by the self ego so anything that differs from his/her point of view of how the world and those in it should behave and react is taken by the ego-self as an attack upon him/her. And the ego-self continually tells him/her that it is right and honorable to defend himself/herself against an attack.
In all these scenes where they are remembering each other every minute, I could see that ego wanted him/her to win because she/he was afraid of what would happen if he/she would be hurt. What their "Ego" failed to see was that they got hurt anyway. That's because they didn't get what they really wanted from winning - the sense of being loved and connected with each other.
@ Swati- Really happy to see their character consistency today
The personality types
:Geet- As usual Geet was once again ready to face the world as she is emotionally strong; like a morning after the storm she always starts with a hope of new beginning. As seen always she tries to carry delightful memories pushing way the bad ones as she moves forward hoping for the bright future. Our optimist Geet!
MSk: The emotionally weak is trying to build the walls around him. While MSK is trying to shut himself by avoiding things that try to attack his ego. He is trying to remove all those things that reminded him of Geet like coffee and curtains. It is not that he dislikes those things but is afraid that it might try to bring his wall down. We have seen that any time MSk has to react with limitation, separation, judgment or fear, he simply reacts as he has been programmed to. It's been his habitual belief system (simply referred to as the ego-self or ego).
All are happy to see real MSK back, full with arrogance, attitude and anger!
Geet is slowly realizing what life is with out MSK and she even considers her time spent with him and his support as a good dream. It is really good to see Geet realizing that how she suddenly has lost support and feeling nervous about her state. "Udaar mey mile khushi thi" such a sad dialogue but portrays the depth of their relationship and her selfish and confused soul.
The usual and most commonly used traffic light scene but I liked it as it symbolizes the crossroads in life and where the characters are heading towards.
Optimist Geet is buying flowers as she is ready to bring colors to her life and says "Zindagi ko khabi berang honay dena nahi chahiya" means Geet believes that with all the problems there is still hope in life!
Whereas MSK is blocking all those memories leading towards her as he is scared of getting hurt! Although he thinks he wants to be away from all emotional attachments, his ego stops him from realizing that he is emotionally weak and the more he tries to run away from it the more he is surrounded by it.
😕The usual huffing and puffing at the office with Shasha & Tasha ready for night club attire!
MSK calls Adi and Shasha , loved to see Sahsha being stopped by MSk and asked to leave. That was the highlight for me.
Adi (MSK's & Geet's loyalist)
Adi is the person who is the sanest even in the moments of trial, with his gestures he made MSK realize that Shasha should not know about Geet's 😕whereabouts. Adi was not afraid to tell MSK that what he is doing is wrong !Adi is the most intelligent and lovable person around…Pinky go for him!Loved the way MSK shows Shasha the door…and want to see more of that! Now Adi and office staff should let MSK know Shasha's true colors.
MSK trying all his tricks to prove Geet wrong and goes against his own principle of truth and trust! No comments everything is fair is love & war .
Geet at Indian Paints
Geet is walking around the different colors of paint cans symbolizes that she will bring colors to her life soon.
@ Swati & Nissar- Though the scene of men seeing Geet and running around was OTT but I loved the social message you tried to bring in.. "Gender stereotypes still exist as to what is considered "women's work."
These stereotypes are ingrained in our society. The media is notorious for portraying females in roles including caretaker, housekeeper, and in administrative support positions but I am glad that you decided to take the other side.
So seeing men could not take that Geet a woman will be working with them and were relieved to know that she will be a nanny ! Attitudes about the role of women in society may have changed dramatically, but women are still perceived as being less suited than men for managerial positionsIn the workplace, women face many challenges as a result of stereotyping, including wage discrimination, sexual harassment, and career advancement. Women's rise to the top is also affected by gender stereotyping. According to Catalyst, women hold only 15.7% of C-level positions at Fortune 500 companies and make up 11% of Fortune 1000 Company board seats. One widely accepted explanation for this small number of female executives is the persistence of negative stereotypes about women as managers. Ruined careers, glass ceilings, lost job opportunities, and hostile working environments are causing women to leave corporate America in droves to start their own businesses.(sorry feminist me)
All these men will accept Geet as a manager? Let's watch and see!MSK & Yash's deal – not letting Geet know….can we say love & ego!
MSK is buying a company to win over Geet, it shows how he needs Geet in his life and he is hell bent to win her back but not accepting the fact. MSK tries to prove her wrong by assuring him that she will be taking his help, he will be by her side but will she will not get him…..lets see how long it takes for the ego to melt down.
Though he is back to his arrogant self but he is a changed one, as he is stalking Geet and not been able to detach from her completely.
MSK and Geet can't change things however he/she tires unless he/she acknowledges it.Now their relationship is fraught with fault-finding and not forgiving.
Swati and Nissar- Let us enjoy the serial and don't rush so it should be more than a week thing! I want to see Geet's career groW*H and her groW*H in her personality . We all want to see Geet fighting all the odds without MSK's help! (that's feminist me and also will be inspiration to many girls who do not have MSK in real life)
Few Pointers:
1. Over make up of GC- too much foundation….do color check before applying and those kaajal make him look sick! Feed the guy…worried.
2. Again we could not hear the song "Tapad Tapad"
3. What was that nephew of Jay doing at workplace and stupid scene at Indian Paints..try good humor not cheap ones.
4. Today there was no ehasaas between the lovebirds?
5. How come Geet's file with her photo was already in Indian Paints before she joined the company?
6. Dadi back to her toes from death bed…hope she realizes her mistake and Geet's importance in Maan's life.
7. MSK is buying a company like a car, no lawyer no agents, never knew you could buy a company by a cheque….think think!
