I totally agree with you. One can think of forgiving had Dev left with fake marriage only. But, despite of knowing that he is going to very badly deceive Geet's trust the very next day he consummated the so called fake marriage just to satisfy his lust. One can never be forgiven for this deed. He definitely should keep his distance from Maneet. If he is truly repenting he should let Geet get her share of happiness.

Thanks for coming up with this pov so wonderfully.

I too felt the same.....

Abhinav was really good and no wonder as Dev he did a great job yday.CVs have really tried their best to show his inner turmoil yday.

I've already mentioned abt it in another of my post.

We are no God to decide what to be done with him........but I appreciate his efforts to rectify his mistakes.Loved his concern for his bro.U've perfectly expressed a normal person's reaction at first place by knowing the whole truth....

MSK must know the truth b4 engagement/marr,let whatever be the consequence!

Otherwise it'll shatter his faith in truth again and the whole khurana family and Geet all of them will suffer like anything.

omg..this is really crucial topic..but sahi...sweetie i am also a married woman and faced alot in my life..and dear its not that easy in life to frogive and forget..i completely agree with iqbal_pallavu points of view..yes..

one this i can tcall rape..yes that ur right..as rape mean spoiling the woman by frocorcing them ...pressurizing on them..but here geet was not forced..but dear how can u not say he is not t all guilt.he did a crme ..that is absolutely sachai..u can nver deny that..geet did the act.as she accepted him as her lawful hubby ...nooooo she did not love him..wat is love..she didnt even get time to knw him well..a love kind of feeling cant just comin on,..yesh she must have liked him and accpeted him in her life..as she sadi to maan.i considered my everything..believed in him..so it was a realtion put forward by hre family..but she did not love him..love was taught to her by only maan..so in that case i cant agree..

then dev repenting..pleasae..i completely agrre again blurey and iqba...if he clearly had a little shame ..guilt or self respect he would have never been able to live in peace..and satisfaction..tried to track her..against NT..no not to take her into his life..i iknw he loves NT and did all this for her and his security but atlast he could have told the faults..taken some punishment from her or her family..no he was a jerk..later on also..wen he was ready to talk out to maan..he for his selfishness..i have to use the word here dear..or just ocz of his bro and their realtion..he was willing to keep quiet on a big truth..i beleive how much ever u love ur family or the person..u shud then face the reality..later wat consequences come..let it be..u will be defo have respect in ur eyes..but here now wen meera made him understand he is trying to find geet...for wat..and he now is gng to open the fact to maan..abt geet..yes that is needed..but telling the truth from wat way..on geet fault or his fault..wat is he going to do clearly..

as i belive too..this acts mainly sleeping with geet was clearly a decietful one by him only ..not NT..whihc no gal can forgive...then maan accepting the fact.will punish dev..yes i surely from my heart want that..but then if dev surely accepts the punishment ..later on can repent and live a life..but away from maaneet..no this is not for my selfish thoughts for maaneet..but for the happinees of all..so noone has to face the other..

maan will not find it easy for accepting the baby as dev...and maybe also push geet to dev..as he is the father..there are chances..but geet she is the one who has to stand strong..at this point..completely go accodingly to her heart and mind..not ny forcing..she can never forgive dev...for the ruthless act he did..he used her..for his own lust and satisfaction..even his wife came there to stop him and make him remembr their act.he was least bothered and was infact firing her ..yes it was her plan..but who asked him to connsumate or cheat on the innocent geet..to do s** with her..that is so pervert mind i would say..

then in the end of all this my dear topic maker..very good post..and noo my dear we all hav nothing against abhinav..he is a true great actor..who is portraying dev so well..that is why we are all so into the characer to hate it. .he is showing the villian role in the most perfect way...i mean as the culprit..so this is just our way of justification dear..all have their own thoughts ..but personally i want dev to go to jail for spoiling a sweet innocent gal ....taking her property and cheaiting on her and family..making her pregnant..no he does not knw.ok..but still he did it with her..which is unforgivable to any gal..nd left her to be destroyed in the airpor...nonsense..he actually put geet to jail also if u guys dont remember..yes geet went to jail ...soooo pathetic and sick..

I always thought Abhinav was a good actor. If an actor is doing their negative role so well that they make you hate them then they're doing their job right. And Abhinav is surely doing his job right 😆

Now that you put devs situation and pov that way, i get it. but there's still that possessiveness i feel for Maaneet. I get that Dev wants to do something right for once and save his bro from this but we still want Maaneet to be together and that's what keeps coming in between us and realizing that dev is a changed man.

it is definitely a HUGE deal for a man to change from what dev was at the beginning of this drama to what he is now. Usually, in behavioral patters in crimes, if a person does a crime once and they have all options open to do it again, they're more likely to do it again. But dev is not a criminal.

Although I'm still not sure if he should be forgiven. Like i said, it's the Maaneet possessiveness kicking in. Just like if we were to hear about someone getting raped, it would effect us but when we found out that it was someone we know and who is dear to us, it would turn our world around. So still not sure if he should be forgiven. I guess you gotta look at all the factors.

I do know that those are 2 different things...but a lot off time, the viewer can get so involved with a character (especially when it's a negative one) that we cant appreciated the actor behind it...

and that is what I am noticing on this forum...

it's a bit off disappointing...

I also get your point...

I am not expecting geet to forgive dev, only cause he is regretting nor cause he is maan's bro but for her to continue her next step in life...she should close the dev chapter..for once... and at this moment she only has closed it for the sake off maan....not her own....

yes he is doing a good job....love the way he emotes...

All I am saying dont let it rule your judgement......cause life has it's up and downs...we all fall to rise....and that is what dev is going through...Me keeping hope that he will continue... but if NT comes back...fall will happen.( god help him and us)......unless he stands up like a man..

bingo...he isn't yes he deceived an innocent girl...and took advantage off her....but not a criminal...

I just want to ask a question, has anyone said anything bad about Abhinav as an actor ??

We might not show our appreciation for him much, but then again we hardly show appreciation for Drashti and she's the main girl. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate their acting skills 😊

Abhinav is doing a great job playing the role of Dev and honestly i can not see someone else playing that role with so much conviction 😊 He has made us dislike his character so much and that is not an easy job 😕 if it takes great talent for us to love a character then it also takes great talent for us to hate a character, and Abhi has that talent 😊

i agree wid you completely thats what im noticing too here 😊 the negative character should remain negative bas 😆 even poor meera is bashed for being dev's support system 😛

bingo...and meera is so nice...she is only trying to guide her friend....but she is getting bashed....

she isn't supporting his actions... only standing by a friend , who is regretting...
