Watched the episode for the second time minus Dev scenes and it looked awesome seriously😳..first time with Dev scenes episode looked below average to me..but without Dev scenes it looked very neat...reason is Dev's character inconsistency with his expressionless acting and on top of that his nonsense reasoning to stop the engagement which disturbed the flow of the show today👎🏼....but Maneet scenes in between stands out👍🏼..
Before I start with my regular analysis...just want to make few things clear to the CVs who are right now going haywire with Dev's characterisation
On star one website questions r asked about whether Dev should b given a second chance and forgiveness here 😕...I say HELLO...what the CVs and the channel r trying to prove here with this type of poll ??..So do they mean to say a person who does sinful acts of fake marriage..sleeping with his fake wife and betraying his real wife...leaving the girl pregnent and running away ..should b given second chance without any punsihment ??....The question of second chance does not even arise here until and unless he is punished...
If CVs want to show the path of redemption here..then do it logically so that Geet's character gets justice..or else all those woman who hv suffered like Geet and r watching this show to see whether Geet gets the justice or not will simply loose faith in life ,if jerks like Dev r set scotfree just because all of a sudden one sunny morning he starts feeling guilty🤢...
And again I repeat is he really guilty ??🤔...they why he din't get the courage to tell the truth to Dadi or Maan earlier ??Why he chickened out in front of Maan when Maan told him about truth and honesty ??..Why now he wants to stop Maneet engagement ??😡...Dev wants to stop Maneet engagement because his fear is that if Geet sees him before Maan coming to know the truth from his mouth,then Maan might kick him out of the house and so before Geet can say anything to Maan,he wants to confront Maan to save his own a**😡..but Dev has no idea that Maan already knows everything about Geet's past except the name of the culprit😃..unlike his unfaithful relationship with NT...Maneet relationship is based on truth,faith and honesty...
So CVs if u want to show Dev's redemption then show it in proper manner and not just let him go scotfree..Here r the steps through which redemption can b shown..at the same time Dev can remain a devil as well to keep the story moving in interesting way😊
- Firstly this engagement should happen and that will b Dev's biggest defeat here where he will see Geet getting the upperhand in a grand manner..
- Create a situation where Dev chickens out again and is not able to tell the truth to Maan after realising that Geet already told him everything and that will b another victory lap for Geet in front of Dev ;
- Let the confrontation happen and let Geet deal with it in a strong and bold manner😊;Let Maan himself find out the real culprit here after feeling the discomfort in Geet's eyes sinse he can read her eyes...Here I don't want Geet to tell the truth about Dev to Maan or else the curiosity element in the show dies down...but hving said that ,I will love to see Geet slapping Dev and showing her authority in Khurana mansion as the badi bahu in front of Dev just to let him know that she is not the timid Geet anymore whom he ditched in HP..so he dare mess around with her😈
- Let Maan declare in front of the whole world that Geet is carrying his baby...which will b another slap on Dev's face..yes its a biggest defeat for Dev as a father where he cannot even claim his own child..
- When the truth will b finally out in front of Maan,let Maan kick him out of the house without any second thoughts so that Dev finally can see the harsh realities of life and what one has to go through when he becomes homeless and is without any shelter..that will b his biggest punishment....I don't want Myra to provide him any shelter if CVs really want to show redemption here..because only when a culprit faces the true hardships of life and goes thorugh the same traumatic phase which the victim went through,he will try to redeem himself....😊
- CVs don't forget that even after choosing the path of redemption,a person's basic nature never changes and Dev's basic nature is that he is still the confused selfish soul that we all know😆...So create a track where after facing the hardships of life Dev returns back with a vengence to challenge the authority of MSK...step brother track can b introduced here..baby custody track can b introduced here...Show the redemption process of Dev and then turn him into a devil again showing that how life has made him bitter again because a person's basic nature never changes..and lets not forget that its not a documentary but a daily soap where the main motto should b entertainment...so unless a show gives us that entertainment or curiosity factor..why should one watch it ??😃..Why today people still remember hollywood classics like Benhur or Ten Commandments because it showed the ultimate fight between Good and Evil....The character of Mosais in Ten Commandments became God only when Ramasais challenged his authority...same way someone needs to challenge MSK's authority here..who better than his own brother Dev 😉..thats what will make the story more gripping ....
- Abhinav as an actor is somehow not able to carry this positive saint type of a role..he is expressionless most of the time and so the guilt or helplessness never really comes out on his face even after he gets the biggest news about Geet being Maan's fiance...his face was completely blank ..the reason why noone could really feel that he was guilty..he looked more like a scarecat😆...And this way the actor is doing no good to his image as well👎🏼..Whereas when I was watching the HP episode where Dev slaps NT...he was terrific in that scene👏..Why ?because the actor is good in negative roles but not in these saintly avataars..So if Abhinav wants real appreciation for his work,he needs to dawn that evil avataar of his which we saw in HP episodes....only then Dev's character can find some charm because at the moment this new saint Dev is looking very thanda and completely illogical 🤢....
Sinse I wrote so much about Dev and how he should b punished and then he should return back as devil and not saint...so will keep my analysis rather short and precise today😳
What I liked..
1)Brillaint hospital scene👍🏼..the promise and responsibility👏...CVs hv answered all the doubts here that were there in the mind of the viewers😉...First doctor herself clarifies how Geet should hv come for her previous tests...something which viewers kept cribbing about all these months😉😆...Second Maan himself clarifies that he is still the same old MSK who is selfish😈..and his selfish motive is that he wants to see his Geet's happiness and smile at any cost and for this he is ready to go to any limits even if it means coming out of his own comfort zone to make her feel comfortable😳....Third CVs confirmed that Baby is safe and Maaneet r now fully ready to dawn their parenthood avataar especially Maan who is ready to become Daddy Maan and is well aware of his new responsibilities in life😳;Loved those simple gestures like Maan putting his hand on her hand and not letting her speak when the doctor was blasting him for not taking her for regular check-ups😳..This shows how Maan is even ready to get a blasting from someone else just to make sure he is safeguarding Geet's honour and self-respect here⭐️⭐️..;Geet telling Maan that "How can your heart b so big...how can u b so generous"😳...Does this dialogue ring a bell in our head🤔..there was a time when Geet gave a complete contradicting dialogue to Maan saying "how can u bring so much karvahat(bitterness) in your words"..today Nissar completes the loop when same Geet praises Maan for his big and generous heart👏👏😳...both holding hands together and walking out of the hospital was a superb scene👏..when they came to the hospital both showed a bit of hesitation while holding hands but while going out of the hospital that hesitation is gone😳..this shows how their relationship is slowly advancing with time👍🏼...that awkwardness in their relationship is slowly fading away now and they r becoming even more comfortable in each other's company👏...Physically they always had that comfort level going in their passionate moments but somewhere because they both had a bitter past,there was a certain mental bloackage in their relationship which always came out in their communication..that is slowly fading away now😳...thats the whole purpose of this hospital scene👍🏼
2)The way Maan puts Geet's happiness ahead of his own ego and goes all the way out to do bhangra just for her was a very good scene because the purpose of the scene was quite clear here😳..Sasha challenged Geet that MSK can never change for anyone..Geet wanted to prove Sasha wrong and tell to the world that MSK might not change for anyone,but he will change for his Geet😳..She never told this directly to Maan but her eyes again did all the talking and MSK clearly understood what Geet wanted from him😳...And so just for Geet's happiness,he steps out of his comfort zone and does the bhangra👍🏼;Some had issues with those weird Bhangra steps given to MSK,well thats because MSK as a character never did bhangra...he is good with western dance and not with Indian bhangra....if it was GC ,he would hv done a terrific bhangra..watch pati patni aur woh to know how well he does bhangra😆😉..but because its MSK who never did bhangra in public😆,so his character was suppose to dance in a OTT manner sinse it was MSK dancing and not GC😊..He was dancing there for Geet and not for the world😳...
3)Adi and Dadi both were lovable in today's episode😳..Adi's sunglass humour rocked big time👍🏼
4)Maan telling Geet the difference between real and fake while putting the real jewellery on her was a good and logical scene which once again clears out many doubts from the mind of the viewers😳...lets not forget Geet's marriage was a fake one..the girl even after confession does need assurence that the engagement is a real one because they had not cleared their engagement status problem with Dadi ever neither during their confession they discussed about this engagement issue😊...Geet's self-talk about the fake part was more to do with Dadi...because just before that scene, Dadi gives this dialogue to Maan saying "I knew Geet is the right girl ,the day u both told me about your relationship"..so that time Geet had a discomfort on her face because she realised that when they told about their relationship to Dadi,it was all fake,.only recently it became real after wednesday's confession😳...so that way they hv never cleared these facts to Dadi...and so she had an issue with the fake part which Maan clears it later thus proving that he can read her eyes😳..also for the viewers its clear that their engagement is real and not fake sinse Maan earlier never told it verbally😉...
5)Maan also clears the fact that their first engagement in front of stars and moon was also a real one😳..there was never anything fake in their relationship earlier as well😳 and then he tells Geet that no Daag of her or his past will ever come between them👏..and thats when we see Dev :The Daag's entry😉...yes Dev is a daag which needs to b wiped off from Maneet's life forever and thats what Maan indicated here...Jewellery scene was a present from Nissar to Doodle sinse she wanted Maan to dress up Geet for the engagement ceremany😳...
Things I absolutely disliked..
1)DEV...DEV ..DEV😡😡😡😡...Why the hell he wants to stop the engagement ??😡...What sort of guilt is this ??😡..why the hell he is shedding crocodile tears now when he doesn't hv the courage to confess his sin earlier to Maan and now wants to ruin Maneet's happiness😡...Chuha😡😡...CVs its a warning from me..Make Dev a Devil...he should b punished by Maan and Geet together..or else you all r going to loose one of the most loyal fans of this show ever...😡..How to do all this has already been explained by me in the beginning of my analysis😊
2)Can we hv some toned down mahii version here😕..there was no need of mahii in hospital scene😡...plss lower the volume of mahii..its becoming irritating to the ears now
3)Why the hell Geet is still calling Maan as Maan Sir😡😡...now here I cannot support Geet when she still continues to call him Sir in front of everyone even on their engagement day😕..CVs we need a real clarification on this issue as well😡
Lastly SCREW DEV😡...Abhi u r good in negative roles..go watch your own HP episodes..u will know👏,...but in this saintly type of character u r just going from bad to worst in acting department😊..Remember by becoming the positive side lead opposite such a strong character of MSK,u will getting nothing but only flak for your performance👎🏼...so dawn the evil avataar and challenge the authority of MSK's character..only then people will sit and notice you😊...
My Episode Rating:8/10...If I consider only Maneet scenes today then episode was beautiful and deserved 9 rating👍🏼..but Abhi's poor acting and confused dialogues given by Dev about stopping the engagement ruined the episode to some extent and so my finaly rating is 8😡..its a nice episode but MINUS Dev moments
