Hey everyone!
This was an important episode wasn't it?HAd to show Geet's confession, and Maan's acceptance of the fact that she is HIS now
It started off being so so beautiful..
We know how awesome the TEAM is...Everyone works so so hard and gives their 100 per cent...only to have their creative vision CHOPPED by people who don't even TRY to understand what that vision is.
I feel extremely sad for the story that seems now to be going in some directions and yet managing to be hanging by a thread.
Chopping off of important scenes, conversations BREAKS the flow of the narrative and gives a whole new meaning to scenes, to relationships.
The poignancy of the scenes can't come across if a segment doesn't have connect with the segment before and after.
We know how much pressure the channel is reeling under...but we feel editing NEEDS to be done sensibly...keeping in mind the story and the CREATIVE VISION
We had a great episode yesterday- a beautiful one.
We had a great beginning today..but then- it was disconnected.
This show is highly popular and TRP's are therefore extremely important, but then, if the channel doesn't realize that TRP's will come if there's a story...it's a kind of suicide.
Please please, it's an earnest request from ALL OF US to not chop off important scenes which make the show meaningful.
Like the coming up sequence- BOLD scenes will FETCH TRP's so...our request is to show it all properly..
It's a very very important turn in the story- and it MUST be treated and SHOWN as such
Now to the episode
A lot of loops were closed today.
A lot of symbols completed.
Geet lied.
then realized that he trusts her. And tried to tell him.
But was stopped ..Dupatta.
Future vision- DEV will be crushed by MAAN!!
NAkul came back in name! Bring him back fo' real!!😉
Geet's suniye is back again!!

Maan- Geet, kuchh kehna chahti ho?
She is stopped by her dupatta isn't she?
Her past holds her back...
Geet's past- her honor STUCK while she is straddling her PAST and her FUTURE in her present
Geet calls Maan to release her dupatta...and ends up hugging him..
I LOVED IT!!

She hugged him...kudi ne definite chance maar litta...
And she confessed-

and she gives him this confidence- she gives him the reassurance

That is all Maan wants to hear.
For the first time- the girl has talked about her feelings...for the first time, she lowers her eyes, and SPEAKS out all that there is in her heart👏
LOVED Maan's dialogue here!
If her eyes are a reflection of her hear- her eyes fill up, her heart is overflowing with love for him!
Geet hugging Maan was beautiful!!
Last couple of times she did it- in the rain- she saw in him as a source of comfort, then it was by chance(when she was falling off stairs), then she just couldn't help herself during 100th epi
Today it was deliberate- and she hugs him with HAQ

Won't say much but it was all v v rushed.

MAan finally comes to his senses when someone else talks about Shaadi regarding Geet...
HE now sees the need to make her his na..
Bangle scene becomes symbolic here..he hurts her and gently apologizes for that hurt too by caressing her hand
This also symbolic?
A girl's hona waala hubby making her wear bangles..
hurting her in the process...is it symbolic of a kind of consummation?

Anyway, i could see the link with the epi where he BROke her chhoodis while holding her back.
This time, he makes her wear them.
but What I didn't like was that he needed a wake up call to really put um...his seal of possessiveness over her so that no one could DARE even think of taking her away from him.
She therefore becomes his.
I would like to curb my feminism a bit here and say that perhaps when Maan had given himself to Geet in that ring scene where he bent on his knees and placed the ring on her hand..saying my life is in your hands- I'm yours.
this was him telling her that she is also his.
She has already shown her haq on him in the Outhouse scene today by hugging him.
MAan labels her as HIS on the basis of the confidence that SHE has given him.
Therefore perhaps, It is possessiveness but it isn't treating her like a possession.

WOW...seriously..Now that I have come to a sort of reconciliation with his possessiveness...extremely powerful dialogue here!!
"yeh aankhein sirf saagar ki tarha shaant nahi hain. Yeh kisi ka hi dard aur dil ki baatein padh leti hain. Inhe samajhne ke liye dimaag nahi, dil ki zaroorat hoti hai"
"geet ka naam bunty ke saath nahi, maan ke saath achha lagta hai"

Remember the outhouse scene where he asked Geet if she was scared of joining her name with his.
Today, he isn't insecure.
Today, he KNOWs, cuz she has given him the surity- today...they are joined in name for REAL
Maan has joined their name...and he wants Geet to also confirm it

HIs public confession has happened...
It's HEr turn to claim him now
But she doesn't say it.
IT needs time.

So, he makes a public and private declaration
"Geet MAan Singh Khurana ki mangetar hai"
I like the sound and the pride of this.
this wasn't pride in his name.
this was pride in the fact that GEET is his mangetar.
And I like besides how cleverly the name was joined,
Geet Maan Singh Khurana...
HEr future name..😉
And then the private one-
"sirf meri"
"srif meri mangetar"
While the public man MAAN Khurana has made his declaration and publicly joined his name to hers- HE now becomes just Maan
The Maan he has become because of Geet
And whispers to her-
Giving her the conformation
Telling her that he has now understood that HE is in HER heart..and says
"sirf meri"
Echoing "mujhe laga tum sirf meri ho"
