The reason most of you are feeling this way is perhaps that plateau has come.

Now, why that plateau has come about could be for various reasons...some to do with the people behind the show and some to do with us viewers.

My disenchantment with the show started a long time ago...you won't believe it...from the Darga episode!

Coming to the point, it is possible that the actual direction of the unsatisfying episodes could have been done by someone else other than Nissar.

It could be the writers themselves don't have any ideas left to show the MSK we've been loving.

It could be that poor Gurmeet is tired out of his mind...he looked devastated, not devastating! in the sbs interview.....and they don't want to push him too much.

Finally, it could be that we viewers have had too much of a good thing and it has begun to pall...as what they are showing isn't living up to our individual expectations.

Having said that, I personally had no issue with the falling on his knees thingy...
It was unlike the Maan we know which is why it is so deliciously unexpected....that he was so unMaan-like...shows how far he has changed in his love for Geet....that he's ready to do anything....if that makes him like any other lover, then so be it....it only makes him human.

My only grouse is the timing of it all....I didn't want a proposal or any profession of undying love just yet. Friendship first and then love would have been a more unusual way to go, in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing ur views and enlightening us abt other possible aspects but I personally dont think Gurmeet's health can be a cause behind coz when he was suffering thru malaria severely then also he tried and gave his level best.He is such a damn good professional but I really appreciate ur pov abt the writers.Wish it would not but may be a reason that they have really do not have any idea by now.

MSK is known to be completely different from the rest of the telly world heros if I may say so. But yesterday he kinda of proved he is human.

A man, a human who loves Geet to the core and cant bear to be separated from her. the very thought of losing her makes him do things which he normally would not have done.

Its probably something relating to his past where he was deeply hurt. Its only now he seems to be learing how to smile and enjoy life and that too beacuse of Geet. he knows he loves her. he knows he was wrong in being judgemental about her.

And he still remians great to me. because not all men who realise their folly ask for forgiveness and that too in public.

Thanks for sharing....yes his past is yet to be unfold.But what I meant to say even there were so many occasions previously where they could have been shown him as person having normal ppl IQ but no they made the char larger than life.This is what am missing now.........only thing I demand that they could have shown it in a far better way as they have already given us so many unforgettable seq b4 like Kurbaan hua.........why everybody loved that seq so much and most importantly am seeing even other shows are trying to copy that particular seq why coz they got that charm that passion that intensity of MSK's char at that time...........

Thanks for putting all these ever beautiful lines for defining love........but here I want to say one thing that not everyone reacts and behaves the same way when they fall in love.They behave according to their basic char.........thats what is missed now.Had they shown him as a very normal,just the way like any other male lead of other shows then his reaction could have well understood.But no they sketched the char in a totally unique way and I hope for which we loved him so much.And bliv me had they retained the consistency of the char they scene/shots would have ignited the fire..........they are missing the expected passion and intensity of the relation now (epsecially in friday n monday epi) . Love is not only picturising beautiful bollywood songs on the leads but consistency of the chemistry is seriously needed for any show.And chem wil be consistent if char sketch wont lose the original beauty.

I agree wid both of you...... i felt the same thing...yest episode was .... total bakwas...sorry no offense... i watched it today, mujhe hansi aa rahi thi poray episode mai,yeh ho kya raha hai....aik bhi scene aisa nahi tha jiska mai kahun ke haan it was gud...sorry but is poray station wale chakar se mujhe dev meera ka scene decent laga .....🤢

bas yar old episodes dekh ke he apne familiar MSK ko yad karen ge ...acha hai show ka nasha utar gaya 🤣🤣
