Here's my take ...

Today's episode begins at the DeMello wedding. Geet – the bridesmaid is late. As Maan explains her absence, he senses her arrival.

- Loved the way she peeks from behind the curtain, seeks out Maan and only on a nod from him does Geet, resplendent in a saree steps forward. All eyes r on her as she walks to the podium and takes her place near the bride.

- Maan has eyes only for Geet….tere bin jee nahin lagta, tere bin jee nahin sakta; tujhpe mein hare maine vaare do jahaan

- Bride to tum lagti ho….agar aap log bole toh aap dono ki shaadi yahin pe karwa dey. Maan is not prepared for that question….BUT what does Geet say …. 'Nahi'….remember Maan, this is her 'Truth' fullness.

- 'Friends, we've all gathered here', begins the priest 'to bless the Demellos as they retake their wedding vows Do you promise in HAPPINESS and in SORROW, ZINDAGI KI HAR MOD PAR, HAR HAAL MEIN, ek doosre ka SAATH DENGE? … Yeh ring prateek hain inke us VISHWAAS ka, jo JEEVAN SE MRITYU tak inke saath hoga. Yeh ring pehen kar aap ek doosre ke PYAAR KE ATOOT BANDHAN me jood jayenge which will NEVER END….just like the ring which has no beginning and is ETERNAL.

- As the priest says these words, Geet looks at the ring on her finger and remembers how Maan had placed it there. These words seem to enlighten Geet as she looks at Maan who is thinking the same thing and smiles softly and blinks his eyes in affirmation. The ring was placed on the bride's finger by Mr Demello…so it seemed like Maan was saying those vows to Geet. Parineeta Theory, DB, Jo ?

- Oye hoye – when the priest says 'U may now kiss the bride'… why is Maan moving towards Geet ? <giggle>… if only Mr Demello did not loom in the middle … LOL

- Maan is keenly aware that Geet wants to express her feeling to him but he wants that moment to take place in a solitary place. Versus, Geet is afraid that what she has to say is so profound, she may stop breathing before her truth comes out.
- Maan senses the urgency with which Geet wants to talk to him but he misinterprets it as eagerness.

DEV SCENE
– One word - Y.U.C.K !!!!!!!! WTH happened ? Why did you have to insert this scene in such a critical Maaneet episode ? Who cares about Dev's bare torso or his bike ??? You guys ruined this episode for me with this utterly worthless scene.!!!!

MAAN PLAYING WITH THE CHILD

- Loved the scene where Geet finds Maan plays with the little flowergirl. GC loved ur grin too… a grin from your heart….very very sweet.
- Babaji…kuch kehna chahte hain aap ? I believe the CVs are giving us pointers with this scene, just like Geet noticed, that Maan will accept her baby (a girl too…..yessssss) and he will be a great, happy dad. And the best part is, after he sets the girl down and looks at Geet, he is not conscious that she saw him playing with that child !

THE KISS

- Oh so so so beautiful Blew me away ! Awesome execution, Nissar, GC, Drashti !!!!
- The kiss on her forehead signifies his love and respect for her.
- The kiss on her eyes signifies his love for the truthfulness in her heart. Her eyes are a mirror of her heart…remember what Maan said yesterday?

THE TRUTH
- Tumhara intezaar khatam hua…aaj tumhare dil mein joh bhi hai bol do geet.
- Woh baat jo baar baar tumhari hoton mein aake ruk jaati hain, bolo na Geet.
- Tumhe ghabrane ki koi zaroorat nahin hai Geet.
- Mein har mod par, har kadam mein tumhare saath hoon Geet.
- Maan is fully expecting Geet to say ILU. He holds her hands (probably sensing her nervousness)
- Notice how Geet lowers her eyes – Maan is unable to read them
- Notice the solitary tear trickling down her cheek – Maan does not like to see tears in Geet's eyes
- These 2 signs should have warned him.
- And then Geet lifts her eyes as her tear rolls down …. Did I sense Maan bracing himself at this point or was I mistaken ?
- And then the fateful words – Mein pregnant hoon !
- Maan goes into shock, freezes, drops her hands, turns and walks away … without turning around. Wow, Gurmeet, wow….fantastic, awesome, behtereen expression.

I expect Maan to be humongously angry … but his anger is not directed to the fact that she is pregnant but because, after all that they'd been through, he expected her to confide in him. Expecting a lot of emotion from Maan on Monday but I sincerely hope that he does not break Geet. I don't think so because there were so many pointers in this episode that suggested otherwise. Look out once he comes back to earth, Dev, NT and possibly even her family in HP ! I wouldn't want to be in their shoes !

I'm not that devastated as I'd expected. The episode get a 4 star from me – u lost one star because u brought in Dev – that too with a bare torso. A bare torsoed villain or a biker villain was totally unnecessary in today's episode and I don't care how many females hyperventilate. Definitely not me, not now, not ever.
