September 8th

I liked that Mann ignored Sasha! (wooooooooohooooooo). I wish Geet would stand up to Sasha not because she is Mann's fiance but for herself.

I enjoyed Geet's assertiveness and increased level of maturity today in the beginning and office scene episode, bravo!😃 I did not like one of her actions in the office scene, will come to that later.

By the way Mr. Dialogue Writer, what is wrong with you? Couldn't you think of another line to have Geet say to Mann, instead that he is more concerned about his ring getting lost. That is a low blow, especially since he risked his life to save her's twice. You could have had her say that something like, the only reason you are asking me as your fiance is because I questioned you. I like the scene, but that sentence was just made Geet seemed ungrateful and rude.

CVs had Geet questioning herself about her feelings for Mann even after her "teeny bopper" investigation about his feelings for her, but why do you have Mann questioning his feelings for her. He already acknowledged that he loves her on many occasions, including the Club conversation and when he saved her in the HP track, just to mention two occasions.

Although I liked the office scene where Geet showed her assertiveness and the hint of a backbone resurfacing and Mann putting the ring on Geet's finger again… What I didn't like about this, is that this time Geet willingly gave her hand, which means she also wants it to be true and accepts the engagement. The problem is that she has not told him the truth, even though that night she realized that she needed to tell the truth before the office scene.

Any relationship that wishes to succeed needs to start on the basis of truth, the foundation must be solid. This is not the case as Geet has a past that needs to be told. Even if one argues that their love confession needs to be done prior to Geet's past confession, so that Mann can handle the truth, it is still tricky. Mann will be even more shattered to know that she did not tell him before the engagement. Tricky because she wants to know how he feels before she tells him, shows Geet's selfishness. They had a solid foundation of friendship where she could have confessed to him, I mean he only risk his life to save her's, I think the man deserved to know.

I understand that she loves him and he loves her and she doesn't want him to walk away from her; thus, this is all the more reason that she should tell her past before their "love confession" as he will respect her more and know that she does not want to cheat him. To do it the other way around is cheating and thus lowers Geet's integrity level.

I am up for a good romance or action flick like the next person but …

Why is Geet's character being weakened day after day, why?

I enjoy a good romance or action flick just like the next person. My issue with this particular show is that is had the potential to open eyes as to these cruel realities and also to help. Media ahs been one of the most informative method in society today and one which has been able to help by opening the eyes of those who can help.

Hi Pari, I have agreed with everything you have said so far. Life is really cruel to girls who don't fit the model of what is expected of them. But if they had continued with what happens in real life this story would have been very sad. When you have girls down on their luck alone in the world, there are lots of people there to take advantage of them. There would have been a lot of rona dhona in this show. Not just on Geet's part but on our part. I am sure this show would have been really hard to watch if we had to see the realities of life. The probability of success for a pregnant alone Geet in Delhi would have been very low! Finding a job, a place to live would not have been easy.

The show would not have been very successful and unfortunately would have died of an early cancellation! But changing the format to silly romance the show is more palatable for us women...very young and not so young. As silly and immature as I find Geet... it is fluff...and it helps us escape from the realities of our own lives.

Agree....Geet needs to tell Maan the truth. If not about Dev.. she needs to confess that she is pregnant not that she loves him..

this is soo friggin well written!!

wow!
umm---u haf left me speechless-(almost😆)---the points u haf raised make hell lot of a sense...bked up wid perfect examples!
i noe many of us (includin me) wud justify kay jo ho raha hai sahi ho raha hai and think hard to proove u rong---laykin if u keep in mind the actual theme of the show and the harsh reality of our society wat u sed is absolutely right!!
actually yaar the thing is--this show has got a hell lot of fame and an abnormal hike in trps cuz of maaneet---
so CVZ are jus tryin to show wat the audience wants to see!!
jiski wajah sey they haf moved away frm the actual storyline--
wat i feel is that they need to balance it all--
maybe fer the moment they are tryin to focus on maaneet's lovestory?? shaid baad main they might shift their track on the "independency of women" ka issue ??
cuz see--they needa develop new story's along takay jab aik chap khatam toh dousra ussi sey start hojae---abrupt beginnin or endin na ho!!
one more thing i noticed in this show--actually in most of the shows---is that chahay woman kitni bhi independent ho shes in a way dependent on sum man!!----her happiness her livelihood is all dependent on him!!
for instance, not evn once i haf seen geet fightin fer herself alone widout any support of maan!! har bar maan cumz to the rescue...whether this support cumz thru his words ya physically!
i completely adoreeeeeee the show and m sure u do it equally---laykin like u sed "lets ger real" the truth is truth---u cant deny it!!

totally agreed...she is not even sure if she is totally in love with him, she talks about him making a place in her heart, but nothing like she is in love with him...where they are today after the HP episodes, she should tell him about the past and not worry about what is in his mind and what he feels for her etc.....

she is his fiance, even though fake, he has linked his name with hers...and at least for that sake she should confide about her past to him....

I definitely agree with you!!!
That's very true! firstly she was raped.
secondly why would you want to carry a child that came to you because of a cause like that and then make the child suffer his/her whole life. Even though the child may be the best person on the face of this earth, people will still say crap.
Now getting to maan. I think maan will accept Geet eventually but of course, every time he sees the child he'll know the child is not his and deep down inside, it does make a difference. the type of possessive character that he has, it doesn't sem like he'll be able to forget about it that easily.
But that's still beyond the point. We don't know how unconditionally a person can love another person. So maybe he will let go of all the differences and accept and love Geet and the child unconditionally.
As far as the society goes, theyre still going to stay crap.
Now, I predict that Geet probably already had a miscarriage or the information was wrong to begin with. Even though its a drama they would probably emphasize it a little more by now. And i think for the sake of trps and to make it more relative to the public they probably won't let her have the kid.
Naintara will definitely come back to the show. I think that when Dev finds out the geet is pregnant and he starts to think about going for her and fixing his mistake, i think that's when naintara will come back. And then later after all the crap Naintara will try to do to ruin everything, they'll find out that Geet isn't pregnant anymore and the story will go on.
But i have faith in the CVs. I believe they know exactly what they're doing. If this was a typical drama that had everything going predictable up till now then Naintara would have been the bad character and Maan wouldn't know how horrible she is. But he does know, and this drama IS different. So instead of showing the predictable version of Naintara staying and planning some schemes, they showed her leaving. So I believe that the creatives know exactly what they're doing to keep their audience hooked. If Naintara is gone, some other distraction will come, such as Dev.
And the pregnancy thing, if it does go on and there is a baby then the CV's will do something to keep the audience hooked.
I've got faith in em. lol
but up till now, they deserve a big round of applause. 👏

It's a show, bud. Fiction. Not reality. So, it's alright if not get real. 😆

About Gurmeet being more popular than Drashti? I disagree. It's true, yes. More than 70% of viewers are females. I don't think they will go gaga over a girl.
I hear it everytime - you're not the first one to say it.
Saying it again tho -
Drashti is the main lead and both of the leads make the show work.
Change Drashti - bring in an other female lead. You will find your answer! 😉

@Jake: Agreed its the show and not reality, and its a make believe world where we see characters like MSK 🤣

Now regarding Drashti, i adore her acting to bits, hooked to this show because of her and she brings out the essence of the character Geet to the hilt....no questions...and that is why i'm griping here about how they are weakening her character, to almost to the point she sounds selfish...she wants confirmation that Maan loves her before she even will reveal anything to him about her past...i don't demand she sing 'tuj mein rab diktha hai' every time she sees him, but i think its already late for her to be telling him about her past to show that she trusts him instead of questioning his motive for giving the ring to her...😕

@Anandana: Of course, she wants confirmation! 😲 She is responsible for another life now! She is expecting, forgodsakes!

She's been fooled once. Rejected. Been almost killed. Her family-who she thought loved her unconditionally-abandoned her!

I don't blame her if she is thinking twice about it! We all love Maan, yes, but that doesn't mean he is right and Geet is wrong.

I do not think they weakened her character, but she is stronger than before. Nobody dared snatching a file or a cell from Maan Singh Khuranna's hands before! 🤣

I'm tired of reading anti-Geet posts, cause they barely make any sense! 👎🏼

After reading the posts on here, IF and FB, I decide to post "Let's Get Real".
I posted my comment from the first page of this post and added the following:
After getting the above off of my mind, reading comments on both IF and FB and also realizing that the show has moved on from the world of reality to a world of fantasy; I would like to see:

1. An intense romance scene with Aao Na by Adnan Sami Khan ❤️.
2. Mature romantic scenes
3. More shirtless and open shirt Mann.
4. Still want to see consistency of individual character and smooth transition from scene to scene.
5. Less cinematic liberty.
6. No pregnancy track.
7. Last but not least, please keep Geet's Integrity.

If you want to add comments, please add here IF and FB, here is link to FB Discussion:

@ Jake-lover: The show started out to portray reality, but it has moved on to fantasy.
