Aaargh...I typed half my comment and then firefox decided to crash on me....OK so let me start again..

Geet stood against her family when she was in trouble. Every person will fight to gasp for air when drowning. Being a mere kid of 18, (I say kid because it's an indian setting. kids dont mature until later in their 20s), she needed a nudge to do something different. Fighting against one's family is not that simple you know.

When she came to Delhi, she found herself at the doors of MSK. Although they had a rocky start, she still never forgot he saved her. So she felt safe around him and could go back to her goofy immature self. But she also stood up for herself when needed. She knows when to act matured. She knows her cards well. She was herself when she was with MSK...that's the only time she could be herself.

Yes, I agree with your point that Dev raped her. But you know, she will never punish someone with the intent of getting satisfaction. She is far from such notion. She is a person who fights for the right and finds justice for the wrong. She will never punish Dev or NT for pleasure...I doubt!

Geet is a very optimistic and positive person. She finds a positive side to everything. Have you ever heard her complain about her hating men? Men close to her have harmed her...but yet she hasn't lost hopes that good men are around. Have you ever heard her complain why this happened to her? She takes whatever her babaji has destined for her and decides to make the most of what she has. So why would she give away the opportunity of being a mother just because of some bonehead's deeds? Why should the unborn child suffer? He has a right to live and she has a right to bring him in to the world.

As for pregnancy track, they will deal with it when time comes. That's what GEET said on FB. Besides, they don't show the characters brush teeth, eat food, take shower, iron clothes and all those chores that you do daily. So why focus on her taking pills and going for health checkups now. They will bring this track when they deem fit.

To end my comment - this is a show. And although not all woman who suffer will get a knight, they do get some emotional support from their friends. And this show is about Geet - and they have mainly focused on how helpless she is and how decisions are not in her hands:
- Marriage
- Fake husband
- Pregnancy
- Being secretary of someone you detest
- Living in outhouse ( she didn't know it was Maan's house)
- Being pulled into fake engagement
- And now, she will have to suffer the bitter words of Maan after knowing the truth

So at every step, she has suffered. This show is very much about Geet!

Sowwie abt computer crashing, bad computer.

Geet to me has always been a strong individual even before she got tricked. Remember her father told her that her family wanted to kill her at birth because she was a "girl". Yet Geet dared to be alive against her family, she went to school, against her family. The character Geet was portrayed as independ, brave and courageous even before all this. And I will tell you this, the treatment which she received prior to be tricked was enough to leave home. Geet still fought after she was tricked. I am Indian, so I understand when you say in an Indian setting. You call her a kid, I call her a young lady, at the age of 18 people usually say a young girl is becoming a young woman. This is exactly why I say that the CVs should go for a misdiganose of her pregnancy. At the age of 18 no one has lived life. Can you imagine being 18, decieved and raped? Then to be pregnant with your rapist child. The CVs, should have let Geet realize these items, when she met NT in Ameristar(spelling sorry). To realized that really happened to her. They did not.
By the way I use misdiganose because the word abortion has a bad stigma globally and I have noticed sight of the word freaks people out.
(no offence intended, please)😊

I disagree, Geet was never immature. It is ok to make a character funny or nervous without making them immature.

Geet would punish Dev for what he did because he crumbled her world and that does not take away from her, it only adds to her strength.

Again, I blame the CVs for not letting Geet realize exactly what happened to her on the Ameritsar (again spelling) track. The problem is that not a lot of people realize that this is rape, so I blame the CVs from not enlightening and educating their viewers. Geet then would probably have a different perspective.
I am going to go out on a limb her: You nor I have not been raped. However if you read the reports and speak to rape victims; may then you'll understand why most rape victims do not keep their rapist child. These victims live with this torturous violation day in and day out.
Also keep in mind that when a woman gives birth, she looks for her husband's/lover's feature in that child, his eyes, his smile, his nose even his touch.
Tell me what will Geet look for in her child, if the CVs let her give birth.
Not to mention everytime the rape victim looks her rapist child, she remembers all bad and see her rapist in her child.

Very true what you said about the showers and brush teeth. It is not about he pills. This series actually gave a time frame by which one can calculate the months of pregnancy, if she is pregnant and according to that time line Geet should be showing and especially if it is such a important part of the show, one would want to give emphasis, it is not a matter of wasting time.
Could you please send me the link on the Geet FB page. Thank you.

Agreed that this is a show. But it was suppose to portray a harsh reality that is happening in society to date. I will also agree that the show has moved from "reality world" and moved to the "world of entertainment". On that note the CVs should not make the show "rohna bohona" like a lot of post says. And they don't not want the pregnancy either. So in this case I will support them.

I disagree with you about the support of a 18 year old rape victim who is pregnant.

So at every step, she has suffered. This show is very much about Geet!
Agreed that Geet has suffered. Disagree that this show is very much about Geet because it has become very much about Geet and Mann.

My response is in purple.
