to add to my analysis:
usually when we see swings and especially in conotation with hero and heroine, the hero is usually seen at the back of the swing and shown pushing his love higher, being there at her back to always look after her and push her higher.
In this lovestory, maan is the one to take her to the swing and he stands in front of her, making her and the swing to go high and come back low to him. A swing can mean many things as i read in the analysis by everyone else and from different perspectives it all holds true.
When i saw the swing scene, all i saw was that it did not matter what high and low the swing was taking, aka life was taking, Maan was always in front of it, joined to it completely. they are looking at each other the whole time, reading each other and mirroring each other. Maan once again shows us how different he is in this scene because he makes her go high but with his hands always holding on to her, never letting her go. And also, when she is normal level again, he is there again, holding on, closer than ever. He has shown this before in every instant that when Geet was in a slump - whatever it was, wether it was crying, her past, anything---he is there before her, guiding her, holding onto her, focusing her.
And geet, like everyother time, is looking only at him and completely trusting in him. when i am on a swing the movement of the swing gives me butterflies when i am not in control of the movement. If geet was feeling the butterflies, she was still looking only at Maan and nowhere else, trying to regain her equilibrium with the movement. she was trusting him so completely by keeping her eyes only on him.
