I'm truly sorry about the pain and heartbreak you have suffered and as a good and loving sister, you are worried about your sibling.
As everyone here has mentioned TV is a sure-fire stress buster which is why we turn it on the moment we arrive home from a hard day's work.....to relieve our tensions.
I wasn't following Geet from the beginning...I was watching only the news channels...then one evening my life changed for the worse suddenly. It's still out of sync and it scares the hell out of me and my family.....
In the depths of my shock and pain, I sat before the TV switching channels when I clicked on Star One and saw Maan/Geet's first meeting in one of those half an hour week end recaps.
I must confess I got addicted to it right away and realised that I had found my source of escape even if it was for half an hour.
My life is still off balance today but with my never failing stress buster, I can now face the bombs life throws at me everyday. And believe, every day is a new hurdle to cross!
In your case, unfortunately, the story and romance in Geet are a constant reminder of what happened to you which explains your reaction.
Watch something else like Sa re ga ma pa or a comdey on Sab Tv or even a comdey show. That will help.
Meanwhile, let your sis enjoy Geet...I'm sure she knows the curves that life can throw at her from your experience. She's not going to fall for fiction....don't underestimate her intellligence.
