Geet serial torture me nowdays. . .

i am sorry people, but today all limit are crossed...and i just have to express myself!
if i had a blog i would have done it there, but well let me do it in this forum today!
everyone say i write negative but i just express myself...and i am very frustrated as my sister love to watch these serials, and i also watch sometimes...but find most of it very hurting and delusion-creating.
i have also been romantic once, had someone, fell in love...but he turned out to be a dev and left me. that is real life. there are no dr.armaans, maan sirs, samrats and mayanks...

so today i want to cry out loud here. you all can hate me, kick me, slap me, banish me, and mods can definitely close the topic, but i am going to voice my opinion as india is a democratic country.

this serial started well only. but should begin to show something realistic also. why go on and on and torture people like us. play on people's fantasies. hurt people who are heartbroken already. why show such a rosy picture.

just tell me u all, which office has such a lenient boss who in-spite of so many mistakes, under qualification and attitude problem of a secretary put up with her and even fall in love with her?



a boss who is multi-millionaire and almost royal family like from generations? i am not saying such men only like rich and snobbish girls, but the girl has to be a little equal. what they are showing is very fantasy...do not happen in real life...AT ALL!
and even if there is [1%] then what is the end of that? they are showing as if life is a 'mills n boons'.
either declare that "in our serial we are showing cinderella and snowhite" then it is ok...
i love happy ending too, but also some realism.

and you know who win in real life?




they win in real life. they steal the man u love most, and the man never returns. geet jaison ki koi kadar nahi real life me. then why show all this and make us believe that the naintaras and sashas recieve punishments? that the maans dont love girls like them? why fool us?

and what is happening now is so hurting. maan loving geet so much... maiking her always feel special... it is coming back to me all over again. what is this? why blindfold a common silly girl like my sister? she believe all this will happen and dont listen to me... she will also get hurt.

because it is clear.
the hot, handsome, rich, brilliant and famous personality like maan


never fall in love with the small town, under qualified girl. no matter how sweet and special they are.


it is not their fault. this is how it is. i like drashti very much, but the serial geet is unrealistic and is becoming very hurting now.
it just wishful thinking that girl like to believe but are heartbroken when they wake from dream...

i just want to ask you all how can u all watch geet everyday and actually discuss and post-mortem each episode, scene and expression...not to mention hidden meanings, future episodes, and even fan-fictions?

u all will hate this post again...but think from heart u will know i am telling truth...

well.........i know that serials r very unrealistic....duppatta flying and girls falling....and boys loving them.quite weird...but if it starts happening in real life who'll watch the serials??

yaar aap koi bohat hi dukhi aatama lagti hain main ne aap ki post ko like iss liye kiya k mujhe laga k aap ko lyf main bohat bara dhaka laga hai or meri baat suno k drama to drama hi hota hai itna personal kyun ho rahi ho??? yeh loge to humain entertain kerte hain to phir iss show ya kisi or show ko bhi entertainment point of view se hi dekha karo... there is nuthin personal... so just chill out gal 😉

I understand what you are saying. I agree with you 100% that there are no Maans in real life.. I can suggest there are many serials which deal with realistic issuses or atleast try to...you should switch to them. Geet is only for those who like mills&boons type romace. This serial is much better than many serials we watch. Todays generation is very smart and they know fiction from reality. Maan is only an ideal....they dont exist...all the more reason to watch them in a fiction....is there any hard fast rule that one should make fiction reflecting reality and one should not watch anything but what really happens in life .That Your sis will be misled by this show is only a myth. She knows your experience and i am sure she realises that maan is a fictional character. In other shows they show evil characters who are beyond our imagination that doesn't mean we believe in them and misled by them.....but watching geet & Maan is much more positive experience than watching all those psychos on other shows. Geet is a well made serial and The leads are good actors and we enjoy watching them enacting the not so realistic characters.

That's why the CV's have to decide very carefully about the pregnancy/baby issue !

c i agree wid u bt maan is lyk nyother man !! if we will be so pesimistic about lyf we will not be able to move ahead. i can understand ki tumhare saath sach mei kuch bura hua hoga! sabhi ke saath hota mere saath bhi hua hai aur kya pata kuch aur bura ho bt still i am optimistic about my lyf!! u noe there is a sayin infact now its a proven fact that we can magnitise things towards us ! so if u really try to forget everything and magnetise something optimistic u will get it! geet is nt nly about maaneet it has more to it! try to analyze the characters . we all can learn something from them. as far as love is concerned just forget ur past and welcum ur present u might find someone . mai bakwaas nahi kar rahi tumhe apne aap ko ek chance dena hi hoga n that is wat dey have shown in geet the girl is now giving a chance to maan. yaar wo dupatta n eye locks ko mat consider karo try to see the basic idea potrayed in the show . iam sorry if you didnt lyk wat i said.

Bianca relax..All of us here are level headed people..we all know that whatever's been shown will happen only in Maneet land...& that's the beauty of it.We all have serious problems & tensions in real life,so serials like these are a getaway to that fantasy world where none of our problems worry us...half an hour of relaxation..that's all..Now, about discussions & post mortem & fan-fics--dont worry honey,we've not lost our heads...this forum is a great place to make friends from all parts of the world & enjoy..which we're doing..there should be a topic to start a conversation with a stranger,na? here in IF ,we dont have such issues..we immediately become friends & start our convos because we've a common topic..our love for the lead pair. So dont worry about your sister, I'm sure with a dutiful & intelligent sister like you by her side to guide her,she'll definitely learn to differentiate between real & fantasy.

i am sorry what you are going through. it is tough
but coming to serial(not only geet but evry serial and movie) it doesn't happen in real life that's why we watching it otherwise we will not watch it.

I m not watching Geet to see reality,i face real life everyday so wats the point of seeing t everyday.I like the fantasy & the entertainment factor Geet creates the superb chemistry,comic situations etc which r bit far from reality but not very unreal.

For me entertainment matters.I m working n software company do more than 9 hrs work daily.

so after reaching home all i need s to relax ,i dont want to see real life with lot of tensions etc again.I
watch Geet,MJHT,SGP for relaxing myself not for equating those wonderful romantic scenes with reality.
