Personally..I don't even want him to speak any word of english..I really hate Hingglish..especially while speaking......he could either just speak english or just hindi...since it is a hindi show...he better stick to hindi...and I haven't found any problems with Guru performing any part of his role...his expression are always perfect......be it being:

MSK smitten
MSK angry
MSK confused
MSK chauvinistic
MSK lover man
MSK drunk man
MSK boss
MSK brother
MSK romantic.....

and list goes on...

well, i have no problem about gurmeet language. i think he speak english well. pls guys ignore this..everybody has a weak point..no one is all rounder..

lolz it's a daily soap... they need the 'smouldering looks' to get trps... and the endless denials help to stretch the show for 5 days a week... but honestly i find this show does have an actual plot compared to other dailies.. i mean especially last week they gave new twists in every episode.. 😊
about gurmeet's diction.. i don't think there's any problem with his hindi.. and his english diction has been improving over time.. so i'm sure he is working on it..
5 and 1/2 expressions?! 😆 considering it's maan singh khurana even those many expressions are quite a lot... 😛

Hello, seeing this is your first post on the forum, Welcome.

This is a daily soap and the CVs are bound to take some cinematic liberties. Compared to some other shows we have on air, Geet team is doing a pretty good job here. Atleast they kept the story and the characters intact.

And regarding Gurmeet's diction. He is a growing actor. He is learning things slowly. Everybody has a fault and for him its his English diction. Its very hard to find an actor who can emote with his eyes, and change expressions within seconds to suit the scene. But Gurmeet does that. Guess we could overlook a small minor fault taking into consideration the way he is playing his part to perfection. And if you watch closely, he is getting better. We as fan need to support him and give him some time to get better.

And before I stop, I would like to tell you to please be polite in wording your sentences. We are all fans of the show and GC and DD and we also find some shortcomings. But wouldn't it be better to present it without sounding harsh?

Hey guys I am follwing this post... believe me Guru is the best male lead I have seen on Indian screen. I think we are expecting too much from our poor Guru....but he is the one who is responsible for this...Mr. perfect. Take it as a healthy criticism.

i totally agree, he is very good looking! but his english and urdu/hindi need some serious improvements, i have noticed it quite alot. For example, the way he says 'secretary'or 'good idea' is not very convincing of how he is an MD of a grand company and has lived in Canada at any point in his life. On the other hand, his brother-Dev- talks in a much mroe sophisticated manner and i actually liek listening to him :D lol Nonetheless i love maan! he just needs some english and diction lesses and then he'll be flawless!

First and foremost...about the storyline...its going great guns....you can check out the ever increasing fan base on this forum and on the rise TRPS of this show are proof enough that its story line is working with the audiences...

I am fine with the storyline.As per his english dictation goes I agree he is not perfect.But then no one is.He has improved a lot though and we have to give him credit for that .Personally I don't much really care as he is such a fab actor we can overlook this shortcoming.
