Another facet of a relationship.. I love how u bring different shades to mesh into a beautiful fabric called love.. Each one of us have a different POV regarding how our roles in life should be defined.
I would like to give another e.g. Would you bare everything that ur friend told in strict confidence to ur mom/ husband?? I do not - because its not mine to say.. In the same way - If our parents have said something in confidence or something which may make our partner look at them in a different light, dont u think its better left unsaid.. I agree that we should be open to each other- about ourselves..But does not work that way always.. Esp. when we are upset I think we tend to want an outlet and our spouses are usually the ones at hand 😆😆😆...Opti , I love how u bring out of the box thoughts in ur FF.. Different POVs, thought provoking...Finally all that matters that u love someone- u understand and accept them with all their quirks and agree to disagree 😉

you are right..i do like to read work like this cause they explore relationships and the dynamics within...
excellent example of aspects of a relationship as intimate as husband and wife that may not be an automatic ticket to privileged information.
i do believe all us come with a baggage and yes..it may not be right to burden everyone including the one most intimate with you to all of it..
there is more to a relationship than just communication...there is more than just loving, understanding, standing beside them..there is also loving to much...understanding too much.that would take away from a relationship rather than give..
fantastic work..
Thanks Vru. I'm happy to note that people here get the complex and controversial message I was trying to communicate through this fic.
You have put it beautifully. 'there is more to a relationship than just communication'. Communication is important but it is not all and may not be fruitful at times. Each partner has to take a call on it. My Geet would end up sharing everything in her life with Maan and seeking his guidance, which he may give to her but that does not mean Maan has to behave the same way. As long as the partners involved understand each other's characters, the relationship would grow stronger. I also liked what you said about loving too much, understanding too much. I guess what keeps the spark of love burning for years is that element of mystery between two individuals. If everything is known what is there to unearth?
