Yes, this is a real story, I added some masala to spice things up here. It is about a British nurse and an Irish soldier who lost his eyes in an IRA bombing. When there is a fire in the hospital where they were, the two search for each other and the nurse gets scarred. I dont think the guy had any chance of seeing unlike my Maan who gave up his chance to see to save her. I dont remember the details(its nearly two decades since I read this story) but I do remember her saying that she does not care about her scar because the only man whose opinion matters to her cannot see. The two also face added problems because of the difference in their nationalities and their religions (She is protestant and he is catholic) but love wins and they get married.
