I read all the parts in one go and am speechless. I have so much to say but do not know how to express it in order to do justice to your writing. I am going to try though 😆

I love this piece - so eloquent and moving. 😭 ...... it brought tears to my eyes. It is all the more impactful because you stated that you had read a story in Reader's Digest about this.

What a beautiful love story and the best part is that love triumphed in the end. 😳

You've described love perfectly in this SS.

The purity, depth and sincerity of love between the couple is fully captured in your writing.
I cannot express the plethora of emotions I'm feeling knowing that such a couple exists in today's world.

It's a breath of fresh air in this polluted world.

I mean the "conventional" love that we encounter on a daily basis can be so frivolous at times, only focusing on the romance and the physical appearance of the couple rather than the deep understanding, commitment and self-lessness that love is.

This SS is superb. You're truly gifted to be able to write so impeccably well.

Thanks Sonia. Yes, it is loosely based on a real life couple (A British nurse and an Irish soldier). Added the usual masala that we Indians are famous for.
