Interesting.
How about Nora Roberts? Sandra Brown? or Nicholas Sparks? 😉😆
They have some interesting books too. Could easily imagine Geet characters in em too. 😃
Anyways, nice work! 😃👏

BTW what was the inspiration behind this piece?

Thanks Shveta... Inspiration was - conversation with a friend when we were comparing asian dramas - Like how would japanese treat the same subject or koreans... :-)

Thanks again for dropping by!

You're inspired me do a Geet remake...Fitzgerald-style, Dickens-style, Austen-style, and Gaskell-style!!! But I won't....I don't have the brain power and creativity that you do...totally not in the mood to explore literary themes and wrap them around maneet...school starts tom!!!

For Tolkein it works very well. Maybe because we need that kind of explanation to understand the world he wants to be in... compared to HP, there are more races, more explanation of different cultures in LOTR... to maintain that differentiation, he needed so many words...

I don't think Maneet suits anything I have written, to be honest... but Rand was too good to pass up mainly because MSK is a good businessman and it would be worth exploring construction industry...

Yeah! Austen style would have been awesome! I am a fan of that style of writing and of course the male leads, but not of the content per se.

Thanks!

^^^I wish you would have chosen fountainhead from Rand, the egoistic, hard-headed Roarke reminds me so much of Maan, but I understand your perspective on why you chose Atlas.
Personally, I am also a fan of the Austen style *hint hint* Sooks why not conjure something up Maaneet?
And someone mentioned Fitzgerald above...Gatsby was an enjoyable read :)

Someone who harped relentlessly saying that I am totally "Maanified" and Maan has emailed his malaria to me and that's why I have perpetual flu, is sure demanding a lot on the above said person... And you now have Maan profile picture???
What's going on Simmie? Ditched AR??? Switched camps??? 😆 😆

Austen style writing will come out more as satire and it will open huge rows of arguments... NJ and I already have perpetual argument about Victorian novels anyway :S

Awesome and completely unexpected, but with you I am not surprised anymore, you can take the most diverse subject and turn it into a Geet post.

I don't know whether I should say much to my surprise or much to my humiliation I have read all these works (granted I have not enjoyed all), but must admit I love your Geet-take on them, made them much more interesting to read.
Personally, when you mentioned Rand I was uber excited since I thought you would choose Fountain...but alas it was Atlas; which I don't fancy too much.

All I need are the names; everything else is unimportant. No, its good that you have read all the series I have mentioned. LOTR and HP are few good ones and Ayn Rand is Ayn Rand. the other one... welll 😆
I have issues with fountainhead; roark is impossible to envision. Thats all.

Your topic is awsum!🤗 You have portrayed the character Maan as Harry beautifully as well as the others what else can I say. Amazing.👏 I would more happy if you have written here about Geet more.

But happy that, in every writer's story Maneet will live happily ever after.

Hello! Thanks very much for the comment. Well, its hard to write about anything where there is no scope for them, right? They shoould fit the characters :-)
