as you can tell i have a fascination for all books >500 pages...anything less than that i am just not interested... 😆

Which reminds me in that case i should have probably said "a suitable boy" there are more than enough characters..har kisi ke liye koi na koi match mil hi jayega! 😆

Really? You don't like comic books?? Man! You are missing out on a grand part of life. Try this - "The killing Joke" - Batman. It covers philosophical concept of fatalism, fundamentalism and nihilism from the mouth of Joker (awesome-st comic book villain. Ever.) When Heath Ledger (R.I.P) was cast for the role of Joker in Dark Knight, he was given this book to read. He was bowled over by the characterization of Joker as it was the definitive way of outlining a person who sole idea was to create havoc. Sorry, I digressed.

Pass. :-) Not my type.

My husband is big time into comic books..errmmm...i mean Graphic Novels...He takes serious offence if you call them comics ....and the killing joke burnt a hole in my pocket (it was my gift to him on our paper anniversary)
Yup, have been subject to not only the philosophy from the mouth of Joker but also the hidden messages in the sketches.... 😆 😆

actually on Vikram Seth's book, if you can get over the tome...its quite an interesting read especially if you like english fiction from the sub-continent...though i dont think i could finish it now what with work and all...sigh i miss college...

Havent read the last book so dont know...rest, enjoyed reading your post :) Please add me in your PM list :)

Hey! Idea was formed when talking to a friend this morning :-) Edward being a fairy was a huge discussion a friend and I had in one of my threads where I wrote about girls harassing their boyfriends using Twilight 😆

Sorry to say that I don't have a PM list and its something which I cannot work with... But surely I will send you a buddy request and whenever I PM will include ya!

Your husband has a good eye for literature 😆 I am restarting my reading of Batman but trade paper backs.. Yeah, they are super expensive but I get so thrilled when I run my fingers on the glossy sheets 😆

I do read Vikram Seth at the cost of a week's sleep or an entire weekend... but of late somehow it doesn't seem as gripping as it seemed before...

Sookie this is wonderful...i just read your eyes post and i wanted to read more...and i gotta tell u this is amazing...i have read all these authors...and i loved how you merged the stories...its brilliant...i must say i m a Fan...i second SWIKA's suggestion do a star wars and star trek...and may be Matrix 😆 ooh and i love super heroes...and since Maan seem to have such a super hero complex...may be you can do Superman, Batman, spiderman...😆😆...alright these are just suggestions....so no pressure😃

Star Wars yes - only because I love the story and its an ever green story of friendship and love and all that shebang 😆Alright, am a huge fan of Han Solo...

Star trek - pass. No way! Too complex to put MSK and Geet... well, I can but nah...

Matrix should be fun to do - only because am a nerd and know matrix dialogues from memory but again it will be lost on many...

Superheros - Batman all the way. Superman is basically an alien and Spiderman was a guy who got bit by a bug. Batman is the most awesome of all who relies only on his intelligence, hardwork and his physical strength unlike those who need Kryptonite or radioactive spide gene!
