I must say you have achieved a century on your first day of the first innings. You have put in the trauma which Maan is currently undergoing in such a beautiful way that one has to love the misery of love. Yes Love is painful unless you are successful in it. It is not that . Maan is not hurt because his love failed, he is hurt because his love didn't get reflected. So far he was under the assumption that the moment he lays his eye on something, it is his an only his. He was so sure that Geet will reciprocate his feelings, since it is Maan Singh Khurana but when she said it doesn't matter to her, it was hard to believe. That too when it was from Geet who always used to succumb to his bullying. He was not hurt because his love got rejected (as a human), he was hurt because that was the first rejection Mr. Maan Singh Khurana faced during his entire life. His EGO was hurt. You have explained very well about the roses & thorns one has to face while loving from granny's mouth.
I am not sure whether it will be Dadima or Pari who will put some wisdom or the challenge into his flaming hurt, he is once again reday to bargain his life with Geet despite telling her he will announce Pari as his Mangetar to Dadi. May the fear of Torns is the reason for his Phrase "NO Roses" as the thorns are always the integral part of roses, he could have said "No RING" because he don't want to get binded, because of the fear of future rejection as the RING is a symbol of Bonding the 2 hearts. He did said no vows as they might get broken since he can't think of their life break because of those frogile moments of arguments. He has become too superstitious after visiting the Darga and the words of the Baba miogt have given him the courage to challenge her for the engagement. Yet again he didn't say they are going to get engaged, but he said she will be his would be wife whether she likes it or not. He was sure that if he leaves the option to Geet, he will not get her for the life time. As such he has decided to get her by hook or crook as the phrase goes " Everything is fair in love and war". He hasn't even said she will pose as his Would be wife but he decalred that she will be his would be wife. His words had that certainity.
