Cast Share Their Favorite Geet Moments
Star One's primetime show Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi will complete 100 episode in a few days. The show is four months old and is popular with the audience. We caught up with some of the cast and crew on the success of the show and they recalled their favorite moments from their show.
Dev aka Abhinav Shukla:
I'm happy that the show has done well. It's exciting to know that we'll be completing 100 episodes in a few days. I'd like to thank the viewers for their love and support and for watching the show regularly. There were several moments that stood out during the show, but the one that stands out for me was when I asked Geet whether she was willing to marry me. I thought that the scene came out really well. I'm also glad that I surprised the audience by turning into a negative character. Nobody expected that I am already married to Naintara.
Naintara aka Karishma Randheva:
I'm thrilled to know that the show has done well. It's a combined effort of all the actors on the show. I love Naintara's character because there are so many layers to the character. Which other vamp on television has allowed her husband to marry another woman? I love that the audience has hated my character, because that's how Naintara was written.
The scene that stands out for me was when I yelled at my mother-in-law and Kamya and at that time, it is revealed that I am married to Dev.
Rano aka Shalini Kapoor (Geet's mother):
It's wonderful to see the audience liking the show. I would like to congratulate everyone for making the show a success and I'd like to thank the audience for their support. As Geet's mother, I miss my daughter and hope that she's doing well in Delhi. I wish the best for Geet and I want her to be independent and successful.
If I were to choose a favourite scene, it would be the scene where Geet tells all of us that she wishes to speak to Dev. At that time, there is a song from Zubeida, which touched me a lot.
Rajji aka Trishka Tiwari (Geet's sister):
I am happy that the show is close to completing 100 episodes. I would like to thank all my co-workers – both on and off the screen. I have several favourite scenes, particularly the ones shared between Geet and Maan. They have wonderful chemistry and I wish that Geet and Maan get married. I don't remember my favourite dialogue, but the scene is when Geet and Maan are in the same house and are shocked to see each other. It was funny.
Shasha aka Kanika Maheshwari (Maan's office employee):
I'm glad that the show is close to completing 100 episodes. It's a combined effort of everyone. My favourite scene on the show is when I challenge Geet at office about who Maan will call into his cabin more – her or me. My dialogue "Now I will really teach you," is one of my favourite dialogues on the show.
Tasha aka Aakangsha Nimonkar:
The show's success is due to the hard work put in by everyone. It's wonderful to see us complete 100 episodes. It's been a lot of work, but so much fun. I think that all the scenes in office were good. My favourite dialogue is 'Silly Me'. I have got a lot of positive feedback for it, including a call from a New Zealand fan, who loves the Sasha-Tasha Jodi.
Neha Julka aka Pari: I'm glad that the show is one of the most viewed shows on STAR One. It's exciting to see us complete 100 episodes. Although I am new to the show, I feel part of this family. My favourite scene is when I interact with Maan, my dream man for the first time!
Adi aka Praneet: It's so cool that we're close to completing 100 episodes. I'd like to thank the audience for their support. My favourite scene is when Geet leaves office and I tell Maan that we won't get another worker like her. It was well-shot and all of us were into the character.
Maan aka Gurmeet Choudhary: I can't believe that the show has completed 100 episodes. I'm glad that we've been getting good TRPs. I'd like to thank the audience for their support. My favourite scene on the show was when i saved Geet from her brother Brij, as it has a lot of action and drama. I'm overwhelmed by the love of the fans. They love seeing Geet and Maan together and they love our chemsitry.
Geet aka Drishti Dhami: I am glad the audience love the show, but now I want the show to complete 500 episodes and I don't mind working hard for it. My favourite scene from the show is when Devji left me stranded at the Delhi airport. This incident was a turning point in my life. The highly appreciated dialogue and the one I love : Devji mujhe chodke mat jahiye.... About my relationship with Maan, I am searching for the perfect bride for Maan sir. Whats interesting now is the fact that people love the show and I cant believe that now people are calling me Geet and not Drashti.
