my POV on maan's confession...plz read my 2nd post

here's my POV....for that i hv to evaluate maan's character....

maan is a person who used to be loner, mistrustful of girls, arrogant and basically a man of few words....
he used to shut the door of his heart to all sort of emotions....specially love and romance....
but then geet came into his life like a sudden storm in a calm weather....
they began to meet in various circumstances and most of them were situations where maan ended up saving geet in one way or the other....
maan began to feel frustrated by the way geet has occupied a part of his life....he wants to get away from her....then he returns to delhi which is his home town....

but....of course fate has its own way and geet lands up as maan's secretary.....he cud easily hv thrown her out of his office but ended up by giving her the job...
from then on followed their nok jhoks....eyelocks....geet falling in his arms every now and then.....and the undercurrent of attraction began to brew....obviously unknown to maan who was under the illusion that girls can never change him specially geet to hargiz nahi. ....

several times maan told geet to stay away from him....and once he even told her that he hates emotions.....here the question is y did he bring this up....does it mean he is becoming aware that he becomes emotionally charged wenever geet is near him....

also....if maan really did want geet out of his life then it was not difficult for him....after all he is the boss and geet has given him several reasons to fire her....

but instead he is the one who always encourages her to keep the job....he even once went to pinky's place to get her back.....he supported her in every step of her life...

maan who believes that he hated emotions....for whom work is his first priority....that same person almost cancelled the middle class housing project and actually cancelled the hoshiarpur project for a single reason and that is geet's dignity was at stake.....

and as for smiles....it is never a rare sight now....geet's nearness, her antics, her innocence brings out the lopsided smiles on maan's face......

how many times he nearly confessed to geet how he feels for her...
in green room he nearly said that he is almost mad because he thinks of her all the time but then changed it and said that he has to cover up her errors all the time....even if we take him for his word, the question is y the need to cover up her errors when there is option of firing her....

then all these dialogues hv a very clear meaning...
1. "ek raat mein tumhare paas nahin tha to itne sawaal....aur tumjo hameesha ke liye mujhe chod ke jaane wali thi uska kya...
2. then in recent jewellery scene....wen geet said mujhe jaana hai....he said "kyun tum baar baar mujhe chod ke...." then again he altered it...
3. then in today's epi he said "mein ladkiyonko reject kar raha hoon tumhari wajah se"....we all know wat he meant although next thing he said that she is not doing her work properly....

maan used to keep his heart under lock and key....he used to refrain from all sorts of emotions....but against all his attempts geet somehow managed to break the barrier and find a place in his heart.....now maan begins to become conscious of the growing feelings inside him for geet....he tries to deny it in every way he can....he insults geet, throws her out of his office....but he began to miss her so much that he cudnt spend one day in office widout her....

after that the darga episode hapens....for the first time maan sees into geet's eyes a longing for him...he tells dadi that she has no reason to run all the way to darga but how can he deny this time that geet went there only for him (who else was in darga except him)........he realises for the first time that geet is in love with him....but the fact is that he has actually come to terms that he himself is in love with geet....after all, he himself said that he cud see in geet's eyes the same emotions that he is fighting day and night....

so, now he is in terms with the fact that both he and geet r in love with each other....now comes the confession part which he is not doing....
he has twofold resons for that....(completely my POV)

first....maan has changed a lot from the days he first met geet in hoshairpur....he who used to hate girls and the concept of love is himself now deeply in love....so much so that if geet doesnt come near him or avoids him he becomes so restless that he comes in the kitchen and start questiioning her....he doesnt hesitate to cancel a project just because geet's dignity is at stake....but confession requires another level of courage and romanticism which maan is yet to achieve...and the gud news is that he is aware of his shortcomings and therefore puts the ball in geet's court...geet is bubbly, she is talkative, vivacious and outgoing...all the qualities required for expressing one's emotions and all the qualities that maan lacks....therefore he is putting geet in all sorts of situations so that she opens up her heart to him....even bride hunting is part of his game plan....

maan has a second reason for not confessing....since the darga epi he is almost sure about geet's feelings....her eyes very clearly express her love for him....but in spite if this he is getting the feeling that geet wants to hide her emotions....she is fighting with her own heart and this is what confuses maan.....he can see that geet now avoids luking into his eyes....she is trying to avoid coming near him....he may be feeling there is something between the lines that he is failing to read....and maybe that is y he wants geet to confess first....that way he feels that geet may share with him watever inhibitions she holds....of course he cannot guess even in his wildest dreams that geet may be pregnant.....

i know the post is very long....i tried to edit it....but then i didnt know what to edit....i tried to write this piece since last week....but cudnt find time....

i created this topic to discuss y maan is not proposing....but after watching today's epi....i am hving second thots.....is maan really not proposing????
come on guys....think for a while....specially if u r a girl u can understand wat i am trying to say....lets say a man is in love with u but is not formally proposing u....but other than that he leaves no stone unturned to express his feelings....he looks passionately into ur eyes, touches u at any given opportunity, cancels his important projects just for the sake of ur dignity, cares for u wenever u r in trouble, hands u over his hanky at ur ever teardrop, his eyes express hurt wenever u say something painful, chup chupke arranges food for u because u did not eat the entire day, himself stays hungry for u, eats from ur plate (this last one cannot be done if love is not there)....but still geet feels that a girl will come and maan will forget her....how can she still doubt his love, how can she feel that maan's love is so fickle that it will disappear with the entrance of a girl...

i understand she has a very strong reason for not admitting her love for him, i even understand her reason for trying to create distance...but i think its high time geet tells the truth to maan herself....i know on friday truth will come out but that is because dev and geet will meet and circumstances will be responsible for it...

but, i think geet shud tell everything herself....maan deserves to know the truth....geet feels that maan cannot bear the pain of her truth...but how can she think if she leaves him widout giving him any reason...then maan wont be hurt....who is she to decide what will be more painful for maan....her going away from his life or telling him y she cant be with him....at least by telling him herself, she can give maan the opportunity to prove how far he can go for his love for geet...

another thing,,,,,is geet really so naive that she cant understand that maan is doing all this bride hunting only to provoke her....like maan has seen love in geet's eyes in the darga....has geet never seen anything in maan's eyes.....wenever maan looks at her his eyes speak volumes.....only a blind man can say that maan is not in love....i can understand it is convenient for geet to think that maan is not in love....but its not convenience...its about reality....can she really deny maan's feelings...

i know guys many of u will say wat the fuss wen truth is coming out in 2 days....but that is not my point....my point is that geet must tell the truth herself...maneet rellationship has reached the point where geet can implicitly trust maan....

also, eyes r said to be windows of our soul....if maan can read geet's eyes, then y cant geet read maan's eyes....just because maan hasnt proposed she thinks that she can leave him without showing any reason....how convenient....

another thing, i understand the child is geet's first priority...then y did she let maan come near her, y did she encourage his feelings if at all she wants to leave him for gud...since she is not blind i refuse to believe that geet did not realise that maan is falling in love with her long back....

i just wish geet takes maan more seriously....she shudnt take his emotions so lightly and she shud stop makings decisions of whether she wants to stay or not stay in maan's life....that decision shud be mutual....because the love is mutual and she knows it...

i really worked hard to write these posts....plz post ur comments so that i can understand where i stand with my POV....

I think Geet can read Maan's eyes very well and does not take his emotions lightly ...but as she is helpless because of her situation and Maan doesnt know it... she wants to run away from the reality that Maan may be in love with her and may not easily forget her.... she is not also looking at the fact that she herself may also not be able to forget him so easily..... her only thought seems to be that she wants to protect Maan from falling for her being hurt as she cannot return it due to her past.... remember when she saw the rose, she realised Maan wanted to give it to her and was worried that Maan may be falling in love with her and she should leave him before that happens....
