Hello everyone,

i have decided to discontinue this ff, but before i do that i wanted to give you all the whole story behind the ff. so i have decided to write out the story in short form and will post the short forms.
-------------------Dil Ki Baatein-------story short form: part 1

2 years ago Geet worked for Khurana Company as the secretary of Maan. She started working for him about a month after she came to Delhi. Her first month in Delhi was spent in vain trying to find any information which she could regarding the man named Dev Khurana who had deceived her and left her in this state. During that month, not only was she unsuccessful in finding him but another tradegy struck her, about a week after arriving in Delhi, she was plagued by extreme cramps and she started her period.
On consulting the doctor, they were able to conclude that she was not pregnant. As she had not consulted a Dr. to scientifically conferm the news that she was pregnant, there was no way to be certain that this was a miscarraige. But the emotional shock of finding herself not pregnant was great, especially since this pregnancy had become the center of her life. It took her another 2 weeks to return to a percent of her normal function.
She decided to move on in her life, she was not going back to her village becuase she did not want to, she couldn't after what happened. So she applied for various colleges around the country and while waiting for the next college session to start, she decided to start working. She landed the job at KC. She became maan's secretary.
All the incidences which happened in the show, happened in this story. The difference comes on the day of the party of Mr. Chopra project (where everything is done traditional idian style). She had received the acceptance letter from a college in Bombay and with the acceptance was an approval for a scholarship. She had decieded to hand in her resigantion letter to maan after the party, but the fight occured and he fired her.
In my story, before maan could apologize to Geet for his behavior, she has already left for Bombay (he decides to talk to her after 2 days, and not immediately like he did in the show).
2 years later when he sees her, she is getting engaged to Dhruv Dave and it turns out she is his partner in their company. She is conversing with Dhruv regarding a plan hatched by her and Naina.
the next day also marks the arrival of Dev to Mumbai where Maan is waiting for him.
