Great points! It's very refreshing and a pleasant feeling that there are so many rational thinking members in this forum!👏

And very practical too!😉 Yes, no harm saying what we want but at the same time having no expectation!

I would like Geet to do something worthwhile in her job, to increase her self-esteem and in the process make Mann proud.

I am sure they can show this aspect, as without degrees you can still do something wrthwhile based upon your inherent intelligence and common-sense. Of course honing her skill through education will be great but I am full of doubts whether they will air such story/scenes. Same goes for heart to heart talk, as normal audience would prefer eye to eye talk, falling dupatta, falling girl and all kind of close encounters!!😃

Well, I am all for dramatics as far as it fits the two characters. Hey, you should write that! I would love to read your take on it. Seeing your writing till now, I mostly agree with your point of view (most of the times, yeah) so I have a feeling that am going to like your take on the scene. Give it a shot?

I'll give it a shot when I have worked my emotions up. I need to do that to write these dramatic scenes you see. Unless I start thinking and feeling like my characters I can't put in words my thoughts.

I think love is an emotion which is farther than companionship. What I am wishing here is much fundamental which need not necessarily be between two couples. One need not be in love with the other or be in "Do I love her/him?" state of mind to have a normal conversation. Don't you think so?

Sookie my dear .. you have sooooo taken all the things that were running about jumbled in my mind and listed them down neatly ...

I too am desperate to see the same things in the show ... and now; I think is the best time for it ....

I think by now we can safely say we have got past the trip-fall / eye-lock / Mahiiiii period and can get down to something more challenging ...

Am dying for Geet to actually learn something and go about her duties in the office without being a total disaster .....

Geet-Dadi convo ... again awesome ... Geet needs an older person's shoulder to lean on ..... and Dadi needs the cheerful presence of a younger person .... these 2 can sooo fill in the vacant spaces in each other's life ....

Yep! The thread is all about what we wish...but know that we are not going to get... I know that all the discussions end up just being in this thread or chat with friends... Oh well :-)

I don't think the story that you (And I) wish for will ever be aired... There are things that can be done, yes.. but those things need to be thought through, is it not? And the end result is not going to be something fantastic sizzling scene... so you connect the dots... 😆
