And when you do, please let me know...I generally keep an eye out to your posts... but in case if I miss..

Sookie my dear .. you have sooooo taken all the things that were running about jumbled in my mind and listed them down neatly ...

:-)
I too am desperate to see the same things in the show ... and now; I think is the best time for it ....

Yeah, so do I!! Its high time...
I think by now we can safely say we have got past the trip-fall / eye-lock / Mahiiiii period and can get down to something more challenging ...

Challenging... or little close to reality... I was watching this week's episodes now... and yesterday the way Maan says his dialogue about her leaving him permanently...the coolness, calmness and in the most obvious way of asking without any emotional outbursts.... it was good to see... I want these kinds of dialogues to go for few minutes and not just three or four lines...

Am dying for Geet to actually learn something and go about her duties in the office without being a total disaster .....

Any woman who slogs at work would love to see that scene :-) Somehow it always pinched me when she goofed up on a regular basis and Maan took her for a ride...
Geet-Dadi convo ... again awesome ... Geet needs an older person's shoulder to lean on ..... and Dadi needs the cheerful presence of a younger person .... these 2 can sooo fill in the vacant spaces in each other's life ....

Yes.. presence of an older generation around always helps... it will be interesting to watch a mellowed down Dadi who is not breathing down on Maan's neck to get him married but tell Geet about something from her experience...

Thanks Sookie for putting this post up ... Hope someone in the PH / Cvs read this and give us our due !!!

Thanks usha..!

i guess we on IF r matured viewers n wanna see things logically n practically.... but CVs show what the majority masses wanna see... that the sad point....
but sookie u shud paste this on discussion thread on GEET's FB..... they read it and they need to know that we need to see these things also.....

My apologies for not responding to you earlier.. I think there are many who would want to see a dash of realism in the series... its alright to live in a realm of fairytale but when reality nudges, it becomes surreal and wonderful..

Aaah...am not on FB...so...But I would not mind if someone else posted there...

How come I never saw this list before Sookie?

I was wondering about it too. They should emphasis towards educating the lead since she is sharp and interested in education. And Maan should encourage her in this matter. On your list my wishes are from 1-5 and the one I really love to see is the # 2) Geet learning something about work and Maan evaluates it from time to time.

This relates to me personally. In my case my boss was a lady LOL. Nevertheless, I'm proud to whom I'm now and the respect I held in my company. Education, qualification does matter and it brings confident and stamina to hold the status in the current world for women. To me woman should be independent and be ready for anything that comes in her way.

dude that was an awesome list! my fav is the education one. :)
all of them are very realistic though and I feel that these dramas should mix in more realistic perspectives and issues the world faces and present them in a beautiful way.

Absolutely all the things I've been wanting to happen. Thank you, Sookie. It's not likely to happen, though, is it?
