i have thought about this before too, but i guess if these situations were to arise in real life, we would react totally differently ( like we wouldn't stand there and stare at the guy for 5 mins, we are too self conscious for that) and even if such guys came along, they wont still be able to measure up to our created exceptions 😆

i always tease my friend, that a week before she gets married, i will kidnap her husband and lock him up in a dark room with his hands chained and force him to watch the entire DMG series ... and now i will have to add Geet also to it...!!

Salam.

If we actually sit down and think about it, why do we sit down and watch these shows day and night? I mean if these things were to take place in actuality, what would be the point in watching them? I mean, we'd be living the dream. However, all this stuff is just entertainment, nothing else. I mean a few morals could be learned here and there, but that's all.

I'm a Geet addict and get all dreamy every time I watch the show, but then I face the real world and its problems and I get a rude awakening. Come to think of it, apart from their "love", the characters have quite horrible lives. Someone with a life like Armaan and someone like Geet would probably just give up on life now. And they're fake people. In real life, the characters lead lives with thier share of real life problems. They're human like us.

So I guess what i'm trying to convince myself first and then everyone else is that TV gives us unrealistic expectations, so we should really work on not letting it affect us so much so, that we forget our own purpose of life. :D

Eggjatly! I would throw him out of the window for a change! I just can't tolerate anything overtly sweet though I don't have diabetes!

i totally agree with you... it would actually no fun living with the pain of not getting the woman you love more than your life like Armaan...
or the burden of finding the father of the child you are pregnant with or.. to accept a woman to come and allow her to get close to you when, you know you have already been betrayed in love...!!
but the way it is all glorified on screen making it look like love has a solution to all problems... we get carried away!!

If there was a guy like Maan in my life for real, guess I would whack him on his head with a purple broom so that he gets in some sense there!

And every time he speaks in the third person about him like, "Maan Singh Khurana this, Maan Singh Khurana that, blah blah blah" I would rush him to the next best shrink in town!

Not happening girls! Though I don't mind trading the one I have for a Maan or an Armaan for a day or two. That about it is my tolerance level for such storybook heroes!
