Ab kya karoge maan......he cant think of anything he stood their blank...
Above up geet closed the almirah with a bang after throwing all her clothes to the bag..she had hit the door so hard maan could hear that from downstairs...he ran upstairs.
"Geet ..." maan tried to draw her attention ..she continued packing completely ignoring him.
Maan looked at her fast packing movements...he mumbled... "so u r going finally..." as if he told that to himself..she is going...maan didn't no why he felt so vacant at that moment ...so void. Geet ignored his presence..
Toh tumhe akkal aayhi gayi...maan tried to burn her spirit ......
Haan ...aa gayi...geet became wild at this ...aagayi mujhe aakkal..!
Maan : " us din bohot badi badi baat keh rahi thi...u r not afraid of me ..and sort of..."
Geet turned at him "...neither I was afraid of u before ...nor I m now....m going because I should leave."
Maan slowly moved towards her .....her hairs were wet...covering her red face with every jerk of her movement.... "why ??aj achanak kya ho gaya?"
She continued with a pause... "I m leaving because I didn't have the faintest idea u hate me so much ..."..the sentence had hurt her like a stab.tears brimming in her eyes.
"Why does it matter so much to you..after all m not ur boss any more"--maan said grabbing her hand.
"Leave me...u r hurting me...." she tried to free her hand...she was somehow hurt ...he was hurting her ...but how....is it only because he has grasped her hand tight...or..may be something else!!
"what if I don't leave ..?" maan whispered while pushing her fixed to the almirah ..
Geet had had it enough...she pushed maan hard by her other free hand.. "enough..!! just let me goooo.....how can u think you can do anything with me....you can say anything to me...no ..no ...u cant ...u cant do it all the time..."
She sobbed while saying .... "that day ..u told I m not important ...all that mattered the name of khurana constructions...i did everything to please u..worked day and night..did everything with my own hand...unknown city unknown people...but darii nahi mai ....caz u told not to be afraid of anything ....u gave me urself the responsibility of making the venue ready for the client ...and when I did it ...u started bursting out at me....why didn't u mention what u want ....didnt I do everything ...every single thing u askled me to do ...after everything u said ---I m not important ...i m not needed...ohh okay .... I left u ...and then u berged into my house .....to check whether m still alive or not ...how thoughtful of u" ...sarcasm and pain made her voice moist..
All this time maan was watching her ....tears flooding her red face...he hadn't seen geet crying so much before...though he always complained of her crying everytime ..
"Geet .."
"No...not anymore.....u hate me..u cant stand me...u don't have to.."geet locked her bag and rushed towards the door...she ran over the stairs...
Maan was quickest to cover her way.... "why does it matter with u geet ...whether I hate u or not.."
The question was appropriate.
Geet : "I cant work for you with my whole heart when u hate me so much ...so I better get going .." geet was unaware of herself..
"No u wont ."a cart reply came.
Get out of my way ....she was furious..
"No..."
"I said get out of my way" ....she greated her teeth ...
hatiye sir...!!
"Nahi to ...kya kar kar logi?..hmmm???"he pinned her with the wall..by gripping both of her hands... moving towards her
Sir ...bas kijiye ..!!bohot seh chuki aapki nafrat ..i cant take it anymore...just leave me.u cant hurt me..!!!
"waah geet waah !!...kya khub samjha hai mujhe"
"Haan ..i can get u perfectly .."she retorted.
Accha... mai jo kehta hu woh tumhe khub samajh aati hai...jo karta hu woh nahi dikhta ?? hai na..?....!!! [translation --u can get it what I say....but u cant see what I do isn't it...]
He was almost on her in the wall..none of them noticed the decreased distance between themselves..
"accha...? aap to mujhe koi khilone ka guriya samjh te hai...jab dil kiya khel lia ...aur jab nahi kia to fek dia phade hue panno ki tarah..." [ translation"Ohh really ...u play with like m a doll..when u wish to play with me...u do ...when u don't feel like...u throw me like piece of torn paper.."]geet was desperate.
"Geeeeeeeeeet .......!!bas..chup ho jao...!!..jo muh me aaye baki ja rahi ho....!!" he banged his hand in the wall...he had it enough ... "Gaya tha mai usdin mai maafi mangne ke lie tumhare ghar...tumhe wapas job ke lie raji karwane...u just drove me out of ur house...? yaad hai tumhe...?"
Geet was dumstruck...he kept on saying...
"U thought I went there to hit u with the chappal..to laugh at u..waah!!..kya khub samjha hai..!!!" pain was getting heavier on sarcasm of his voice..
He was breathing heavily ...she could feel the heat of his breath on her face..his eyes shining with anger ..frustration... and ...is it pain..??
"have u ever.....ever understood me right..??"
Geet's word has hurt him equally...she cant see how much I care for her ..how much I think for her ...she cant see it at all...she thinks I hate her...he felt a choking pain in his larynx. ..he cursed the feelings getting heavier on himself..but no control on himself.
"u know...If I had really hated u this much .....i would have never followed u almost everywhere u go..and messed up with a trouble...i was always there with you ....think geet think...sometimes use ur pea sized brain too..."
Geet silently stared at him...she had never seen him this much angry..
His face was just 2-3 cm away from her face...she could see a drop of tear shining in his red eyes..
"U want to go na.....?? I wont stop u ....just say ...whom do u know in this city ...where will u go...? say ...why are you silent now....?"
"Mai....." geet mumbled.
"Just shut up."maan growled " ....u want to go na...ok ...fine...jatey jatey address or time batate jana... kab kaha kaunsi mussibbat modh logi.....jana to mujhe hi hoga na.....piche piche .....what did u say ..TUMHARI PUCH BANKE....?"
"U know geet ...u too hurt me....i don't say ...i don't know how to say ...never learnt to express myself...mujhe kehna nahi aata geet ...par kabhi to samajh lia karo...!!"he could not take it any more.....he knew he is about to break.
He knew he had said much more than that he supposed to say .....he released her ...and drew himself away from her .....he breathed heavily ...he doesn't know what to do....he has talked too much.....picking up the key of the car ..he rushed towards the main door....he cant stay here anymore..he just cant let geet see the tear drop about to roll on from his eye....
Just before slamming the door hard back himself....he stopped....said without turning to her.... "u can surely leave .....IF U TRUST SOMEBODY MORE THAN ME IN THIS CITY ..IF U DON'T ...THEN DON'T STEP OUT ....yaad rakhna meri baat..!!!!" saying this in a clear tone he didn't wait for a fraction of second...stormed out.
Geet could hear the sound of igniting the engine.....he pressed the accelator hard .....and trailed off leaving a mist of dust and confusion behind ..............
