We all acknowledge the fact that Maan's Character is something which is quite very different from all the other Male Characters on Star One'.

What Makes Him Special???It's his Pride, Dignity, Arrogance, Short Temper, I Care a Damn Attitude living by his set principles which he will not bend and wont let Other bend too'

The one reason (is it only one, I am not sure, since I can't count his abilities, I will stick to call it 1 reason) that he is too different from the normal men, his pride, the self confidence that nothing can go wrong with Maan Singh khuranah, he is always right kind of thing, his punctuality, the grace alongwith arrogance (all along I was thinking grace is only for Girls), the respect he has earned from his employees (normally no employee likes a sadoo boss) that makes him too special.

..But what's happening lately???? Maan Singh Khurana is changing and that too not slow and steadily but drastically'.and that too because of that one Feeling which according to him is sheer nonsense-"LOVE"'..

Yes, he is changing from within. And he is realizing it but still with confusion that all these things can not happen to Maan Singh Khuranah. Then how it is happening? He is still questioning himself there remains beauty of his love and life which is yet to be acknowledge by him.

A Few Day before he was under the dilemma as to what's happening to him'..He noticed that he was changing but his ego was too superior to accept it'.to accept that he is Strongly Attracted towards Geet or for a matter of fact she is affecting him humongously ''...

It is not the ego, he was so confident on his self control and now even before he realized, there is change in his system. The synchronization between his mind & heart is lost. The shaft which was holding them both together is about to break, so both are running in different directions. The reason for all these.......... the devasting Girl who keeps challenging him on anything and everything. He was the one who was proud of his ruling power, is lost in front of a girl which he unable to digest.

Now coming to the song'.I know that the song may not have been a great one or the Sequence Picturisation may not have gone the way most of us Anticipated '.but the Song was 80% on Maan - his actions'His expressions'his every gesture'.and from that POV I don't think there would have been a better Option than" BEHNE DE"'.

The Lyrics of the Song when it started was actually almost pointing out the Tug of war which was going on inside himself'.

Yes, he was fighting his conflict from the very beginning of the day. HIs angry eyes go very soft the moment he lands them on Geet and withing split second he realises and to cover up that feeling he either lose his temper or try to avoid her. (which he can not do for long)

If you noticed its when the Lines "Behne De'.." Came across the screen, Maan who already looked lost in the mesmerizing view of Geet in the Rain'..Maan who hated Rain and associates it with gandagi and keechad Came out'..Which showed he decided to find out what's happening to him'.to find out answers to the Turmoil that's taking place within him'..to let flow of all the feelings that's making him confused'..

Yes, he had finally decided to go alongwith the flow rather than swimming against it. He is now realised that there is crack in the wall (which he has built to block any one entering his heart, with his self control & confidence) and the more he try to supress the emotions, the more will be the pressure on the wall. He is like ok, let me see if I have missed some new feelings, let me explore them and if possible learn to enjoy them or concur them. So that made him to get out of his car and enter the nature but he was not aware of the aftermath effect. If he were, he would not have ventured out of his car.

This above lines starts when Geet Hugs Maan which left him shocked and surprised at the same time''.Initially he could not reciprocate it coz part of him forbade him to Hug her may be 99% of himself told him to keep away'.but 1% still urged him to go ahead and Hug Geet: To Comfort her'. console her''Protect her'.

Even when he was out of the car and came near Geet, he was still in confusion, was questioning himself, what am I doing here and was confused to see the tears in Geets eyes. Her tears will make him vulnerable and at that moment geet hugs him. It took him by surprise that he was unable to reciprocate instantly. Here is a girl who was enjoying with laughter like nothing can steal my happiness who turns out to be frightened kitten crying out her heart. The brave MK is lost to her tears, was confused that even a slightest move of his might affect her and hurt her and more over he was not sure of his feelings. So all in all he was hesitant, but eager to protect her. (than to console or comfort)

Yes, his protective nature towards Geet won in the last thats how he held her head close to his chest like here is my chest so broad and hard, you can rest here and leave the rest of your pain to me. empty all your sorrow now, here and once for all, now that I am there, nothing in this world can harm you. He was so lost in her innocence, her confidence him him (when her sob, stopped) then the crack his heart, became wide and his emotions flowed out even before he realized it. Thats when his other hand pulled her and held her so firm like you belong to me and I can't bear to have any distance between us. Yet again his mind is not working here, all his actions were ruled by his heart.

All the questions'the KYUN's he kept asking to himself pent open and Flowed'..and he found the answer as to what's happening to him'to his life??? The doors to which was shut to one and all had been opened by this one Girl-GEET who was affecting his ways'his thoughts'his life drastically''

He is changing and this change came more evident when Maan who hated Rain enjoyed it.... he embraced the pouring Rain with both hands....Thanking it(Rain) for giving him that one moment (The Hug With Geet) which sealed of the Fact that he is changing.....Geet's presence in his life is changing him drastically....

Yes, he has opened the gates of his heart and all his emotions which were suppressed and thought had not even such feelings, have come out as flood which is a realization of truth. So he was thanking the rain, thanking the nature for providing him that one moment to realise himself, his feelings, his needs to find out the real human in him. Still he is not affected by Geets physical proximity, he was carried by her nature, her way of thinking, way of looking at things, the way of taking the life and live every moment to its full worth. Finding happiness in even small things.

Yet I liked his fight within himself that why things are happening like this with me, Why this girl is affecting and devastating my life. How can a disciplinarian Maan Singh Khuranah can forget the most important things of carrier.........etc.

I for one who doesn't want Maan to be a devadas. Yes, I like his change but not to the extent that he is haunted by those feelings to mis his meetings. I don't want to see his at the receiving end. I don't want some one to comment him on his changes. I would like him to the same Arrogant, angry young man. I don't want him to mix up his personal and professional life. Geet has this easy going attitude with him because he is not like the other male gender who think gender biased. So it is for the betterment of both we love, Maan should remain same and retrain his feelings. Let him tame his heart & mind to run along yet again with even the soft feelings. Once they are synchronized, he can be a lover at home & boss at office.

I so agree and lovely analysis! Behene de was perfect for Maan...is it just me or do all the songs used on this show feel like they were made perfectly for Maneet! First, Kurbaan, then Hum Tum and now Behene De!!!!

The lyrics of this show suit maan's plight and inner desires brillantly!!! I wish the picturisation of this song in the movie was like the way CVs picturized it! They're interpreted just perfectly(this word is gonna get so old so fast,LOL!!!)
