Well, you're absolutely right about the tiny details making a charachter. As to the car, well, I love the car and also came across it in a book but it's not from the series you're talking about. In fact, now that you mention, I'm forced to go through all the cars I came across in that series but can't place them all. You see, Weird Unlimited and all. Forgetful memory....
