i think so too that maan's past is a mystery...as there are so many points which show that something painful has happened in the past.....

--he does not like roses..the symbol of love

--he does no believe in helping anyone..specially girls...in the begining when he met geet he did not help her from those goon who were chasing her in that mela...

--he straight away suspected geet n her family of wanting to cheat him of the property with out finding out the details or reason for it....

-- he does not like it that he is attracted to geet...and is falling in love with her

--he is trying to run away from his feelings
