yep...i am eager for them to meet and see Mann's reaction on meeting with A Verma..incidentally.. Averma has not met mann as well as yet.

oh and I have a minor in Biomedical engg. That just came as I read this part! Hope that will help as well. God i must sound like a complete nerd😃

Chapter 3

Mann

Mann is MIT Grad with MBA from Harvard in MIS. Post this he worked for Fortune 500 company in New York and France where he KB Technologies took birth. With Fluent French and friends like Chloe it was a good start to a new life in France for Mann. But Chloe who was his first love in Harvard Business School and colleague in the French company he worked for (they had lost touch while in New York) had taken up the challenge of setting up a company and home together. Their ideas were so similar it was like mirror. They were a perfect team who were ambitious and driven. It was of course a rude awakening to see Chloe marry money that her father forced her to as he didn't think Mann Singh Khurana was good enough for his princess. Heartbroken but not down Mann put all his energies into building a business that would one day be number one in the world where IT was concerned. He moved back to his hometown Delhi and had brother Vicky look after the French side of business.

Present.

This Digital Pen technology project was his baby that had excited him the minute he developed the technology in partnership with the Swedish company and this new technology will put his company on the world map. Today in millions the company will leapfrog to billions and that was his sole purpose in life. Women especially after Chloe were not worth the time of the day. They were okay as subordinates or to do the small jobs but he will never again put trust in any woman in work or his life.

While going through the project papers , he looks up as the intercom buzzes. Verma wants to discuss the project and wanted to know a convenient time. Well thinks Mann, the guy is straight to work. Good. Tell Pinky to ask Verma to come in 10 mins.

Abs gathering papers after the confirmation from Mann's PA and walks towards his cabin.

PA on seeing Abs

Hello Maam, he is ready for you. How do you like it here now. How different is it from Canada.

Abs not into small talks…replies…Good so far.

Then kinda flashback to an incident that had happened on the way from Canada to Delhi, smirks and walks towards Mann's office door.

Mann without looking up, calls out coming on hearing the knock.

Silence. Abs is stunned into stillness as she enters and takes a first look at HIM.

Mann. Verma, come in. I was just going through the project papers….looks up and sees….HER.

You can't stop now....you've brought us to the brink.....and then left us hanging.....come on.....continue plz!!!!😆

Chapter 4

Abs Mind screams HIM

Mann's mind goes this is Verma ? can't be and starts…what are you doing here? How did you find this office (silly question, of course she knows what company I own), who let you in my office?

Abs cooly – says…jumping to conclusions again Mr M S Khurana?

Mann – stunned for a second and then roars Answer me! Abs (hates raised voices) snidely remarks Always the one in control MK ? Noot everyone cowers to your whims. Lets start again. Goes out of the office, knocks, enters and says Mr Mann Singh Khurana now that I know your name in full, I am Verma. A Verma. You can call me Abs.

Mann as if all the strength has seeped out of him, slumps to the chair and sits back. She is Verma, She is Abolee ( my name for Abs). Dayum why did I not ask Vicky who Verma was. She is woman and to top is she is Abolee my nemesis…at the conference in Paris on Digital Pen Technology.

Abs derides herself…why why..why Him.. why did it have to be him. I should have put two and two together when I learnt about the digital pen technology fromVicky. Dayum she hits her head…I should have seen this coming…I should have know..that Mr MS Khurana aka MK was also Mann Vicky referred to!

Mann noticing that Abs is still standing near the door…finally say…come pls sit down.

Abs as if on wooden legs..walks to the chair opposite him across the vast table and sits as if her legs would not..hold her anymore..

Flashback

6 months ago. San Regis, Paris, France

The Paris Digital Pen convention organized by Swedish company to demonstrate the new technology and have the developers and partner meet to learn from across the world what has been developed on this technology.

MS Khurana, representing C M Technologie PLC, Paris, France. – speaker on the software developed by their firm.

Ms Aboli Verma representing, Microsystems, Vancouver, Canada. – participant scouting partnership with Swedish company had visited their Sweden office and was recommended to come here.

MS Khurana dressed in grey pin stripe suit is gathering up his papers in the business room allotted to him in the hotel , looks up as the door opens expecting a waiter, is stunned to see an elegantly dressed Indian woman in Navy blue pant suit, hair up in French knot, pink lip gloss on pink bow shaped lips and kohl lined big brown eyes.

MSK says yes. Abs says actually was looking for the Crystal Hall where the convention is. MSK gives direction and she disappears behind the door. MSK shakes his head and gets back to collecting papers.

Abs goes out the door hits a hand on her head and says…dhat…that was..a faux pas alright, barging into someone's office, smiles sheepishly and walks in the direction given by that delicious voiced stranger with piercing eye…even from the distance, she had noticed that…she shakes her head..says to herself..stop it…this is not you…he is just another handsome guy…and enter the Crystal hall and finds her seat.
