What's so wrong if the creatives show pregnancy?

I don't understand why some members are soo against showing Geet pregnant, I mean why can't they do that? Don't you think some girls might actually have been abandoned after consummating their marriage and may turn up pregnant, what they're about to show is actually very realistic. They're trying to show how Dev's betrayal has affected Geet in long term. It's not like oh yeah he got my land and money, but who cares? But this is what will provoke Geet further to have infinite fury against Dev, and I don't think there's nothing wrong this if shown. As far as Geet and Maan's love story goes, we don't have to worry about that, I have full faith in the creatives of this show. Gul Khan is an amazing producer and the director is very good indeed. Just enjoy the show guys😃

It would be the ultimate revenge if Nainatara couldn't have kids and Dev's only kid ended up calling Maan "dad"!!!!!😈

liked what you wrote. the show is just showing reality and we have to accept it. i just hope they show maan stand by geet through her difficult times and this develop into long lasting love😳

i agree with you 100%!!! This will definitely make Geet stronger and increase her motivation to avenge Dev...oh, and he will get it big time! 😈What the creatives are showing is reality and yet, some people are commenting how disgusting it is, but that's how its been with many girls! And thats what Geet is trying to portray.

for nothing is wrong with CVs showing pregnancy track because I want that Devji to come back and see what he could have had with Geet but couldn't now because of his own stupidity.

I also want him to see and hear his own kid calling another man papa, so that he can feel the same pain Geet felt when he left her just like that.

so in other word I am looking forward to this track😊

totally agree Kashish... its very realistic and very true.. the world is not rosy and bad things do happen to the best of people and its good that its being portrayed!! :D

i think Geet will use this as an excuse to hate Dev more.. i want her to seek revenge from Dev. But in reality, she will be shattered when she comes to know that in reality the marriage neer took place - it was false.. hence maneet have a chance! ;) lol..

i disagree. they should def not show geet getting pregnant.. i dont care much about the show's real connection to the world.. this can badly affect maneet storyline.. i mean to say that i sort of love the way the whole story of maneet is shaping up. just dont lyk the way geet is hurting mann by her one liners.. i just want mann's past to come into light now so that it is easy to understand him. people over here are already calling him harsh, vengeful and selfish.. i dont think he is.. as i said b4, this type of person (with hard exterior and soft interior) usually has been hurt very badly and usually this type of people are very sensitive and delicate when it comes to emotions.. i think same is the case here.

Can you explain to me how this will "badly affect" maaneet storyline? it's bound to happen that they will end up falling for each other anyway. so even if this pregnancy track comes along, yeah Maan will probably be in shock but at the end there's a definite chance of him accepting and supporting her when he finds out the truth. this baby will bring them closer together. and as for Geet's one liners, it just proves that Geet is trying to stand up for herself which can even make Maan shut up

Hi, first time posting here, so my opinion may differ from everyone else's.

My problem with Geet being pregnant is the future tracks that can come up. Usually, shows start out with strong plotlines but as time goes by, the news tracks end up falling thru the tracks. The creative team can goes many different ways if they show Geet pregnant. Example would be Geet accepting the fact that she'll become a mother and start looking forward to its arrival and then suffering a miscarriage. This would completely shatter Geet and personally, I think she's been through enough.

Another factor would be Geet's family. Her pregnancy would just be another ammunation that Geet is bad luck to their family and Brij would have yet another reason to kill Geet (and also an unsuspecting child).

That's say, Geet and Maan get married and Maan accepts the child as his own. Dev is bound to come back and try to win Geet back at one point or another. Geet having his child, his blood flowing through the child's vein, would give him complete rights over that child. Again, how does this fare for Geet?

If and when Dev comes back and accepts Geet (and their child), I'm sure that her family would force Geet to go back to Dev (considering that Maaneet aren't married). They have already proven to go through any lengths to save the family's pride and respect.

I do agree with that this a realistic dilema, which many women have gone through, so it's very reachable that the creatives would go this route. This would also further cement Geet's hatred for Dev. However, with Dev's return on the horizon, she could eventually accept Dev back : - (
