hello everyone!!!!!! god!!!!!the precap 🥳...i know we are all very much excited with the happy news about SaGa doing the rounds...so with all happiness around i am here to make my wonderful readers happier with a update of the fanfic. chapter 3
What is a house made of?- bricks and cement. how strong is it?- the architect says it can handle an earthquake. Impressive, right?
The bricks and cement make a dwelling place to live in but the people living in it make it a home. For a home to be strong you need a well-knit family with lots of trust and love between them because the damage of an earthquake can be repaired but relationships do not work that way." home is where our story begins.", and this was so true for a girl who walked into her home at the age of 8 . She soon began to fill the hearts of everyone around with so much love that today after a decade the girl is the heart and soul of Chaturvedi Home.
After her arrival many things changed, ammaji who loved the tea made by her daughter-in-law ,now sipped the strong ginger tea made by gangaa and her daughter-in-law too was used to that aroma of ginger that made the morning of everyone. Niranjan chaturvedi, fondly called as baapu by gangaa left for work after seeing his daughter and everytime he looked at her, he used to go down the memory lane where his daughter once said-"Only a true person can give justice and i am your daughter , so i promise to say truth always." While gangaa was the daughter for Madhvi and niranjan , she was also a sister to her Pulkit bhaiya. CA.Pulkit chaturvedi was a busy man and it was his assistant Gangaa who managed his work. She helped him with the client papers and some Tally work whenever she got time to ease off the pressure on him.
The chaturvedi family was munching on the Parathas made by their daughter when walked in yash with a big good morning.
Yash is a cousin of sagar and pulkit. His mother fondly calls him- prince and he really is a prince at heart. He loves his family and regards gangaa as his sister.
good morning yash- greeted pulkit and asked yash to join them for breakfast. yash took the seat next to Ammaji and poured some juice for him. just then gangaa came with more parathas and greeted yash-
Hi yash...she said with all smiles.
gangaa...how many times should i tell you? yash bhaiya...say..say...yash bhaiya...
why should i call you bhaiya? i am not younger to you. In fact you should address me as didi because i am elder to you by two months- arguing gangaa served him the parathas.
okay didi- said yash with a wink and munched on the parathas.
Everyone on the table smiled at their argument which has been going on for years now and continued relishing the breakfast. Gangaa took the seat beside Madhvi and started cutting some fruits for herself .
"By the way, when is sagar coming back?"- asked yash excitedly
"Very soon son"- replied niranjan.
"That is a great news uncle."
"you tell me son how is your studies going?"
"It is going very well uncle. hopefully i will clear the exams this time."
"you will son. and then may be you can join pulkit in his work, right pulkit?"
"Of course dad."-replied pulkit and the brothers smiled at each other while niranjan was proud of his sons.
"yash, subh subh yahan? koi baat hai beta?"- asked ammaji.
"oh! yes, there is a pooja at home tomorrow and i am here to invite my family"- said yash with a wide smile.
"okay son we will all be there"- said madhvi while niranjan and ammaji nodded in agreement at her reply.
The day went like any other day and soon the dark sky was decorated with the stars and the moon.
In her room, gangaa was writing what another day without him felt like-
"the day is just like any other day from the past 10 years, there is everyone around me ...we are all there but we all miss you... "sagar", when yash asked about you today, i could see ma, baapu, ammaji and pulkit bahiya all trying to hide their tears...and me too...every day ...every morning ma opens the door just to see if you had arrived today...pulkit bahiya drowns himself in work so that your thought wont cross his mind... ammaji and baapu dont talk much about you because they want to stay strong...or at least pretend they are ...
a weak smile appeared on her face as a tear drop fell on the page, she wiped her tears and continued-
we are all waiting for you sagar...your best friend...gangaa...i am eagerly waiting for you to come back home...there is so much to tell you and ...you just come back Mr.Sagar Chaturvedi beacuse we are all waiting for you...your home...your family and your gangaa..."
Gangaa closed her diary opened the drawer and kept the diary safely. The drawer was full off of gift wrapped boxes and some bands. She took the blue band and slowly with her eyes on the band walked towards the breeze coming from the window and stood there. Her eyes closed and a wave of tears got away as she remembered-
"Gangaa...this one is for you."- said Sagar as he tied the band on her wrist.
"what is this Sagar?"- asked Gangaa inspecting the band.
"its a friendship band Gangaa...see..." and he pointed at the encryption on it that read-"My Best Friend"
" you are my best friend Gangaa...i am leaving today...but i wont ever forget you...i want you to keep this safely and the day i come i hope to see you wearing it..."
gangaa looked at Sagar in awe and felt happy that she did have a friend in Sagar.
"you will be there na?"asked just to assure himself that he wont loose his friend ...
"yes...promise..." replied Gangaa with a smile.
Gangaa opened her eyes and looked at the moon and the stars that made the darkness beautiful and said-
i am waiting Sagar...like i promised and held on to the band tightly never to let it go.
Sagarwas standing near the window leaning on the wall and the serenity of the moon, the peace around reminded him of her. He smiled and said-
Gangaa...i am sure you are there waiting for me...and i know you wont ever forget your promise...
