Ganeshji gives darshan to Kashyap and Aditi.
Ganeshji - Maharshi Kashyap, I have been born as your son in order to fulfill by boon to mother Aditi. I will slay the wicked monsters.
Kashyap - Lord, your leela is great. Even Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh cannot understand it.
Aditi - You are the supreme formless, omnipresent Parbrahm Parmeshwar. I can only worship your form.
Ganeshji - Tell me mother, what do you want?
Aditi - Please give up this divine form, take the form of a child and play in my house. That is how my motherly feelings will be satisfied.
Ganeshji - As you wish mother.
With proper rituals the naming ceremony of the child (Ganeshji's incarnation) is performed. He is named Mahotkat. All sages bless him.
Maharshi Vashishth - Maharshi Kashyap, your child is full of all qualities. He appears to be the incarnation of none other than Paratpar. He will do good to the whole world. His name will be Mahotkat. He will face many difficulties but will overcome all those and destroy the demons.
Devantak's minister meets Devantak.
Devantak - How is my kingdom?
Minister - Maharat, all the people obey you. Yajnas, worships etc. have stopped. The gods are no longer getting their strengths. All the ashrams and gurukuls have been destroyed. All the kings have accepted your authority.
Devantak - Is there any special news?
Devantak laughs - Is this a news? The birth of children is a common thing.
Minister - This is a very special news, maharaj. Maharshi Vashishth has predicted that the child will destroy the demons.
Devantak - You have lost your senses. How could you even think that a child has been born to destroy the demons? All gods, yakshas, all kings on Earth together also cannot harm the demons. But if you still have any fear, then I will prove maharshi Vashishth wrong. Depute demoness Virja to kill the child. It is better to destroy the seed rather than to wait for the tree.

Devantak - Virja, go to maharshi Kashyap's ashram. Maharshi Vashishth has predicted that Maharshi Kashyap's new-born son will destroy the raksharas. Go to the ashram and kill the child. Be careful, he is not any ordinary child.
Virja takes the form of a female sage and goes to Mahotkat.

Virja lenghens her hand to kill the child. Ganeshji increases his trunk, wraps the trunk around Virja's hand and throw her. Virja falls and dies. Then her original demoness form is seen. A spy from Devantak watches everything secretly.
Kashyap and Aditi come inside and see the demoness lying dead. Maharshi Kashyap remembers maharshi Vashishth's prediction.
