got married, her hubby refused to play nalangu and we were all really looking
forward for some fun - so, we collected all the oldies - who had grown up,
married kids and asked them to play nalangu - boy they were so enthusiastic -
the wives dominated and we had real fun - so much that the newly weds did
not want to be left out - they did play - talk about inspiration 😳

After a real longgggggg break - during which time Jay managed to gear himself
mentally to face mad Roja some more - having had a taste of what she actually is !!
The next game is all ready. Jay takes a deep breath... Meena goes near him and
asks ??says? whateverrr - " Mr. Jay , do you treat Niti as a kid these days?? I mean ,
do u take care of her as if she is your kid??" Well, Jay seems to be a real nice straight
forward guy - never reads in between lines - and guess wants to impress the IF ians ,
specially Roja - ellam oru nappaasai thaan - "Niti yai nalla parthukkaren nnu sonna
this mad woman may get off my back " - Answers sincerely " Of course madam.. be
rest assured that your friend is in safe hands.." Aishu forgets that she has to keep
a poker face and grins - Roja stares.... Aishu withdraws her grin.. Meena winks at
Roja "mission accomplished akka" Niti has gone for a loo break and so does not know
this conversation.

Eljay watches Aishu, maddie and Meena - the trio is now poker faced. Eljay cant
make out any thing. Eclat has been tagging with Meena - "If i have to get any inside
info, I better tag along Aishu or Meena!! Maddie kitte irunthu oru clue kooda kidaikkathu" ..

Maddie on the podium again - "Mr. Jay this time it is a real simple game - we have
a life sized doll and u have to dress that baby..." As the IF ians hear an audible gasp
of relief from Jay, Roja has ice cubes ready - " we will just blindfold you , You just
have to feel the doll and dress up"

Now Eljay's mind wheels are running in breakneck speed - Looks at Eclat and
Srima for support but Eclat refuses to take her eyes off Meena - does not catch
Eljay's eyes !!! Srima is eyeing Jay - " along with the sarees , shirts selling kooda
we can start? and use Jay as a model for my products??" Business woman to
the core ....

Jay smells a rat but can not go back now - agrees to go ahead.
Aishu does the blindfold and maddie checks - as Aishu was talking about
some "loose kattu" in the arattai munai. Now Niti comes - she looks kind
of flustered - because when she went for the loo break, Aishu quietly followed
and briefed her. Niti made a fuss in the beginning but Aishu got maddie over to
convince her - how?? the details of the talk will be given later folks....

Niti is made to lie on a comfortable couch and the blindfolded Jay is brought.
Meena starts to roll on the floor but maddie kicks her -
"satham pOttu siriche..... kolai vizhum.." The fire in maddie's eyes
silences the rest ...Eclat and Eljay now figure out the game....look for a
vantage spot.... from where they can see well and when they laugh neither
maddie nor Jay can hear !!!

Niti has a smug smile - " Jay .... neenga enakku dress panni vittu
evvalavu naal aachu??? va Rajaa vaa..." Jay has a question - "amma
Rojjjjaaaa, how do I know that I am doing the dressing right?? any clues
will be given??" Eljay quickly answers " onnume vendaam Jay , in about
2 mins the art of undressing..oops dressing will automatically come to you...
if u have ever been out of touch !!!" Jay is too flustered to catch the joke -
" intha game ai mudichu ttu inge vittu Odinaa pothum.... " starts to dress the
"doll" - Aishu asks Jay to start with the socks.... "apdiye u can proceed..."
Jay suddenly remembers the last game "diaper kooda vaa??? marupadi
marupadi wet panna maatingale?" Niti cant contain herself..starts laughing ...
Meena and Eclat hold her tight so that Jay does not get the feel of her movement.

Eljay holds her breath... "socks kku meleyaa?? ayyo daa.." Jay finishes with
the socks - successfully - fails to perceive the warm feet or does not expect a
doll to be warm!!! Jay's hands move upwards and feels the long dress - thinks ..
" ithu enna skirt aa?? Oh, this time baby girl doll aa?? well, maddie does not
know that it is a boy again for us....will be nice though if it were a girl..." Goes
near the waist... feels a bulge... and a slight heaving as Niti is still kulungi kulungi
laughing... understands that the doll is dressed already.... smells a rat...pulls out
the blindfold... sees Niti on the couch and blushes..

Now itis Eljay's turn to gasp - relief - habbaaaaaa..... Jay can not beleive that
Niti joined the IF ians in fooling him..." maanga keppe illai?? vaa di vaaa....
no more mangoes..." Well by now the whole lounge is rolling on the floor..
maddie has a disappointed look .... " che che skirt mattum remove panra
varai wait panni yirukkalaam.. ellam sirichu kaatti kuduthuttanga.."

Niti laughs ..laughs ...laughs.... and Jay is worried that she may deliver before
August.... Time for food ..maanga is omnipotent omnipresent... maanga rice,
maanga pachidi, maanga pickle, mango icecream.....The IF ians attack the
food - Jay slumps on a chair... "ayyo daaa , sapaadu vendaam, onnum vendaam...
. veetukku polaam.." After food, all the IF ians shower Niti and Jay with gifts.
Maddie says that the doll is a gift from IF "Niti ,make sure that Jay has a practice
session every day..., ok??" Niti is still laughing.. Jay looks pale....

Eljay is planning for a nalangu for Nallu...😃

(any one is interested in knowing how maddie convinced Niti to go along??

Aahaa......... I thought you let go of Niti and Jay easily last time, but this time 😲😲...... while reading i was ☺️☺️ and 🤣🤣🤣 at the same time 😆........

Roja, where do you get these ideas from? No wonder eclat had to read this in the middle of the night, lest her family members get the idea that she was nuts. I have no such problems, my family is fast asleep right now. Keep us plied with the funny stuff, they take our minds off the rest of our problems. Wonderful!

Venue: Thirukastsandhya mandapam, chennai

Date: June 31, 2009

Time: 10 p.m to midnight

What: Nalangu for Ganesh and Nallukutty

Conducted by IF members, led by eljay, assisted by Roja, eclat, Jas, Srima, Aish, Niti, Meli, Atina, Jagdu and others.

Directions to mandapam:

Take any vehicle and get to the Beach. Once you get there, look for the Uzhavar statue. Once you get to the statue, look for the Kannagi statue and proceed there. At the Kannagi statue, take 16 steps due east, then 34 steps due North. Start digging. Soon you will find a large slab. Lift the slab, take Jagdu's help if needed. You will find a flight of stairs leading down. Go down the stairs and keep going till you find the stairs going up. At the end, you should see another slab. Push this slab and you will find yourself in the mandapam.
