FF: Punarjanm-Part 4- Pooja is happy.

It is a happy day for Pooja. The part opens when Pooja gets a phone call from Ranbir.

Pooja (on to the phone)-Hello! Yes sir. This is Pooja Godbole here. Oh you want to meet me and speak to me personally. Okay I will meet you at Lovers Park in 15 mins.

Ranbir- Miss Pooja why Lovers Park? Are we lovers? Well I didn't know about that.

Pooja- Actually sir I stay near the park that's why. Oh you want to meet me at your office. I will be there. Bbye sir.

She keeps the phone down. She quickly goes in and gets dressed to go and meet Ranbir. She is super excited.

Pammi- Pooja beta where are you going? Are you going to the market-sharket? If yes will you buy some things for me?

Pooja- No mom! I am going to meet my boss Mr. Ranbir Nanda.

Pammi- Okay beta jao.

Pooja runs out of the house and catches the bus to her office.

AT THE OFFICE

Pooja- Sir I am here. What did you want to tell me? Whatever it is I am ready.

Ranbir- Pooja come here with me. Let's go inside my cabin.

Pooja- Okay sir. Anything is fine with me.

Inside the cabin.

Ranbir- See Pooja I truly love my mother….

Pooja- Sir everyone loves their mother.

Ranbir- DON'T INTERRUPT ME!!! My mother is craving for me to get marries. And you know I hate the idea of marriage. I want to prove to my mother that I can't keep a girl happy for a lifetime. So I want to ask you if you would be ready to have a contract marriage with me for 6 months?

Pooja- But sir a contract marriage? I am sure your mother won't agree to that.

Ranbir- We won't tell my mother. Let her think that we are madly in love with each other. Towards the end of the sixth month we will start fighting like crazy and .......and you will ask for divorce from me. Then everything will be fine. Then mom will also be convinced that I can't keep women happy.

Pooja- Sure sir. It's fine with me. I won't tell my parents too.

Ranbir- Good. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you sooooo much Pooja. You have saved my life today!!

Both of them get up to leave. Ranbir tells Pooja that he will take Pooja to her house and they will announce the news to her parents. Pooja promises to act like they r madly in luv.

GODBOLE HOUSE

Ting-Tong Ting-Tong (bell)

Kanya opens the door. She is shocked to see Ranbir there.

Kanya- Tum? Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? Who do you want to see?

Ranbir- Hmmmmm.

He looks into her eyes and is lost in them.

Pooja (grabbing Ranbir's hand) - Aao Ranbir. This is my younger sister Kanya. She drags him into her house and in front of her parents.

Pammi- Mr.Nanda? Yes aap yahaan kya kar rahe ho?

Anand- Please sit down.

Pooja- Mom! Dad! Kanya! And Harpal! I want to announce something.

Harpal- Yes Pooja kya baath hain?

Pooja- Yeh hain Ranbir Nanda. Hum ek doosre se bahut pyaar karte hain. We are going to marry each other.

Ranbir- Yes parents-in-law!!! We want to marry each other!!

Pammi- What? What bad news!!

Ranbir-Huh?

Anand- Pammi good news bolo good news.

Pammi- ha ha same hi hain na?

Ranbir- Thank you for accepting me as your daamat ji.

Kanya is shocked when she hears this news and pulls Pooja inside. Harpal feels relli bad coz he loves Pooja.

KANYA'S ROOM

Kanya- Di yeh ap kya kar rahi ho? Aap uss saand se shaadi? Chi!

Pooja- Kan! He isn't a saand. Actually this is a contract marriage for 6 months. But I am planning to make him fall head over heels in love with me during that time.

Kanya- Oh! But he is so arrogant and mean.!!

Pooja- Kan stop insulting your jijuji!!

Kanya- Jijuji my foot!!!

Pooja leaves the room and Harpal enters the room.

Harpal- Kanya don't you think Pooja is deciding stuff like this too fast?

Kanya- Yes Bhaiyya! She really is! But I am happy for di. Aren't you?

Harpal- No.

Kanya- Why?

Harpal- Coz I love her.

Kanya- Whattt? OMG!! I can't believe this.

Harpal- It's true Kanya.

Kanya- We will find some way out don't worry. Let's go to the hall.

Pooja is going to get married to Ranbir? What a mean thing to do rite? So dumb of me rite? No. Wait and watch how Ranbir will fall for Kanya. Don't you think he has feelings for Kanya? He doesn't know it.

Pre-cap for my next part-It is the engagement of Pooja and Ranbir. Pooja is very excited. Ranbir is not at all happy. Kanya is also excited coz she wants Pooja to win over Ranbir forever. There is a lot of excitement and buzz going around. Will be an exciting part!! Also will show the grand entry of Aarushi Ranbir's cousin sister. I will also tell you who is playing her part!!

PART 5: Engagement….

This part is based on the engagement of the contract marriage of Pooja and Ranbir. The Godbole household is really busy and there is a lot of hustle-bustle going on. It is a very important day for Pooja because it is the start of her romance with her dream man Ranbir Nanda.

This scene is showing Kanya getting ready for the engagement. Kanya is wearing a beautiful red lehnga and her hair is plaited. She is looking absolutely fabulous better than anybody. Amri, Kanya's elder sister enters the room.

Amri- Wow Kanya! You are looking absolutely fabulous!! I can't believe Pooja is getting married to the demi-god Ranbir Nanda. She is going to live life in luxury after this.

Kanya- Yes Amri di!! Pooja di has always been dreaming of Mr.Nanda. It was such a wonderful thing that even Mr.Nanda loves her. (I won't tell Amri di about Pooja di's contract marriage. She might go and tell mama and papa and then Poor Pooja di her dreams will get nowhere.) Lekin di I thought you really liked Vipul jiju?

Amri- Of course pagli! I still love my Vipul. He is such a darling when it comes to me. He is my perfect prince charming.

Kanya- Just pulling your leg!!! Aren't mom and papa ready? Let's go down!!!

Amri- Okay Kanya!!

Kanya and Amri go down. Amri goes into the kitchen to help her mother make the dishes while Kanya goes to her father.

Kanya- Papa mein aapki madat karoon? What are you doing?

Anand- Nahi beta I don't need any help. Tum bas jaake dekho ki gaadiya aa chuki hain yaa nahin.

Kanya- Okay Papa. Arre ye kya aap ro kyun rahi ho?

Anand- Nahi beta bas soch rahi thi ki meri betiyaan kitni jaldi bade ho rahe hain.

He breaks into tears seeing a picture of Pooja, Amri and Kanya.

Kanya- Yeh kya papa? You should be happy that all of us are getting married into happy homes. Amri didi got the man of her dreams, Pooja di is getting married to Ranbir Nanda such a big man. Aur rahi baaki main I am not planning to get married so soon.

Anand- Beta Amri got married only last fortnight and today Pooja is getting engaged and perhaps next fortnight even you'll want to get engaged.

Kanya- Don't worry papa I won't. Mujh par bharosa rako.

Harpal, Kanya's cousin brother enters the room.

Harpal- Yeh kya Anand maama aap ro kyun rahe ho? Don't cry it's the time for celebration!!

Kanya- Yes papa. Harpal Bhaiyya is absolutely right we must enjoy and laugh. How do you think Pooja di will feel when she sees you crying. She will feel miserable for her own engagement.

Anand- Okay children I think you all are right. Okay Kanya go and see if the vehicles have come we have to leave for the Nanda Mansion in half an hour. Hurry.

Kanya- Okay papa I'm going.

Kanya leaves and goes to check if all the buses had come or not.

The scene shifts to the Nanda Mansion.

Ranbir is in his room getting ready. Suddenly Ranits his sister comes into the room. She is dressed in a beautiful blue lehnga and is looking very sweet.

Ranita- Ranbir you are looking dashing. Just like a film hero. You should consider acting in Aarushi's films.

Ranbir- Thank you Ranita. I am Ranbir Nanda. (He is thinking- her eyes are so beautiful and expressive. Something happens each time I fight with her, each time I see her. Whatever. ) She is a beauty.

Ranita- Kaun Pooja?

Ranbir- No…..not Pooja.......I mean yes of course I m talking about my darling Pooja.

Ranita- Ranbir I just can't believe this. You have become so romantic all after meeting this Pooja Godbole.

Ranbir- Yes Ranitz. Pooja is simply beautiful. My darling Pooja…..

Pooja my darling

Pooooooja I love you…..

Ranita- Ranbir enough enough!! Don't become sooooo overly romantic!!

Ranbir (muttering under his breath)- Romantic my foot! I'm just pretending.

Ranita goes to her mother and Ranbir again starts talking about the lady he feels is gorgeous.

The scene shifts to the bus. The below dialogues of Kanya and Pooja are basically spoken by them in their minds.

Kanya- Today I must behave properly. I musn't start yelling at Mr.Nanda today whatever happens. Just for Pooja di's sake.

Pooja- Today I'm going to get engaged to my prince charming. Wowwiee!!!

The bus arrives at the stop. Pooja is escorted by Ranita and Mallika inside. Kanya gets down only to be greeted by Ranbir. She flashes him her sweetest smile. He blushes.

Ranbir- Hi Kanya.

Kanya- Hi Mr.Nanda. Happy to know that you like my sister.

Ranbir- Yes after all........Call me Ranbir.

Kanya- Well I know about your contract marriage.

Ranbir- YOU DO?? OMG! Don't tell anyone.

Kanya (in a re-assuring tone) - Don't worry I wont.

Suddenly a big mob arrives there and it is actually the media people.

Person.no.1- Sir please pose for a picture with your fiance so that we can cover the post on the cover page of all the newspapers!!

Person.no.2- C'mon closer Mr.Nanda and the hone wali Mrs.Nanda.

Kanya- Listen actually I'm not…

Ranbir- Listen to me!

Person.no.3- Sir please photo na lene ke liye bahana mat banao!!

Kanya- Excuse me this is no bahana.

The media come a push Ranbir and Kanya together and takes photographs of them together and then they go away.

Kanya- Why didn't you stop them?

Ranbir- Coz I didn't feel like it.

Kanya- Di will be furious!!

Ranbir- My dear this is a contract marriage. Why should she get angry?

Kanya- But………but………

Ranbir- No buts! Now please go away from here. Stop bugging me.

Kanya (in a mocking manner)- Ok Ok As if I'm longing to stand here with you.

Ranbir- Go away!! Bhagwan please make this museebat go away from here.

Kanya- Humm(In a disgusted tone).

Kanya goes away. Ranbir looks after her and waves her hand. She looks back at him and sees him waving. She is shocked.

Kanya (Muttering under her breath)- What a big flirt!! Shaadi kar raha hai Pooja di se aur flirt kar raha hain meri saath.

The scene shifts to inside the Nanda Mansion. Pooja is sitting inside a room with Amri and Ranita. Just then Mallika also enters the room.

Mallika- I'm so happy that Ranbir fell in love. It always seemed so impossible. Pooja beta I'm so proud of you. Tumhari pyaar ne Ranbir ko kitna badal diya hain.

Pooja- Mallika ji please aap mujhe sharminda kar rahi ho.

Ranita- Seriously Pooja I just can't believe that Ranbir is getting married at last. I have always longed for someone to talk to. Other than mama.

Pooja- Kyun? Your sister Aarushi never talks to you kya?

Amri- Aarushi? You mean Aarushi Nanda? The famous film actress? Will she be here today?

Ranita- Yes…she is the film actress only and yes she will come here today. Pooja daraausal the thing is that Aarushi is always busy with her shooting and she hardly spends her time at home so.

Pooja- Oh!! That's bad!! Don't worry. We'll have a lot of time together!!!

Mallika- Sach much everything is happening just the way I wanted it to happen. Chalo chalo Ranita beta and Amri beta please take my bahu to the mantap. Oh ho what is that noise? I think Aarushi has come.

Amri- OMG!!! I so wanna meet Aarushi. I'm so her biggest fan.

Amri runs down to meet Aarushi Nanda. She comes down and sees Harpal, her cousin. She tells him about Aarushi. Actually Harpal always thought that he wanted to marry Aarushi Nanda before he fell for Pooja. So he actually has a bigggg time crush on Aarushi.

Everybody prepare to hear who is playing Aarushi. She is beautiful; she is amazing and is a very good actress. She is none other than SHILPA ANAND.

Aarushi is dressed in a red lehnga and has left her hair open. She is looking simply fabulous.

Aarushi- Hello! I am Aarushi Nanda. I'm sure you all know that. Well are you my brother's fiance's relatives or??

Amri- Yes we are Pooja's relatives. I am Amri her twin sister and this is Harpal our cousin!!

Aarushi- Hello Amri. Hello Harpal!

Harpal- Heellooooo!! I can't believe I'm actually meeting you.

Aarushi- Anyways I have to go inside. Bbye. Nice meeting you all.

Aarushi goes inside and Harpal starts following her. Amri pulls him back.

The scene changes to the time after the engagement. It is over. Sorry guys I don't know the traditions of an engagement that's why. They are actually finding a suitable day for Pooja's and Ranbir's wedding. The pundit is also here.

Pundit- Mujhe lagta hain ki yeh shaadi paanch mahine ke baad hona chahiye.

Mallika- Jaisa aap kehte hain Pundit ji.

Ranbir- OMG!

Kanya- Pooja di are you happy with the date?

Ranbir- I'm not/

Pooja- Yes Kanya I am.

Pundit- Mujhe lagta hain ki yeh shaadi ko December 29^th ko hona chahiye.

Kanya- December 29^th is my birthday. What a coincidence!!

Ranbir- (After hearing Kanya say this he agrees)- Okay Pundit ji. You are right.

During this occasion Pooja and Ranbir are not allowed to sit together. Ranbir is sitting next to Kanya. He keeps looking at her continuously. The dates are decided and everybody goes away. Kanya decided to go for a walk near the Nanda garden and Ranbir decides to follow her.

Kanya- Tum? What are you doing here?

Ranbir- Walking. Andhi ho kya?

Kanya- Okay.

Ranbir- Kanya actually you are really beautiful.

Kanya- What??? Please don't do this.

Ranbir- I'm sorry that I always insult you. It is out of my habits!!

Kanya- It's okay. I have already forgiven you.

Ranbir- Thank you.

Kanya blushes and looks away. They both walking by their hands by their side. Ranbir touches Kanya's hand. She looks at him and pulls away her hand.

Kanya- Okay Mr.Nanda I think I'll go now.

Ranbir- Why are you calling me Mr.Nanda?

Kanya- Okay Ranbir jiju.

Ranbir- Ranbir jiju nahi. Sirf Ranbir.

Kanya- Ranbir.

As Kanya says his name he looks deep into her eyes and she feels some strange feeling. Ranbir feels that hers is the most voice word that he has ever heard.

Ranbir- Kanya are you a singer?

Kanya- Nahin. Why?

Ranbir- You have a very beautiful voice that's why.

Kanya- Thank you so much for the comliment. Anyways bye Ranbir. See you later.

Ranbir- Bye Kanya.

Both of them turn away and walk away. Both of them look back, but at different times.
