~In the car~

Ranbir was still confused. Kanya was so unpredictable! One minute, she would be screaming at him with rage, and the next, she would be perfectly sweet.

R: Issi liye maine ladkiyon se door raha! God, they're confusing!

Kanya (who was asleep) leaned on Ranbir and her head rested on his shoulder. Ranbir looked down in surprise and saw her. He grinned in satisfaction.

Part 16: Press conference

Big D: Chalo! Sab utro! Hum pahunch gaye!

Everyone got out of the car except for Kanya and Ranbir. She was still asleep on his shoulder and he was still enjoying it.

Big D: Oye khote, neeche utro.

R: Coming Big D!

Ranbir brushed his hand against Kanya's cheek.

R: Kanya, uttho, hum pahunch gaye.

Kanya opened her eyes and her cheeks went red as she realized what happened. They both turned away from each other and got out of the opposite sides of the car. As they walked into the Nanda News channel building, Kanya and Ranbir pointedly looked away from each other.

P: Main hoon Pooja Godbole, reporting live from Nanda news station, jahaan pe khud Nanda parivaar aaye hai, apne nayi dulhan ke baare mein press ko khabar karne! Chalo dekhte hai.

As the news camera zoomed away from Pooja's face and showed the Nanda family, Big D spoke into the microphone.

Big D: Thank you everyone. Humare press conference mein aapka swagat hai. Humne yeh press conference is liye bulaye, takhi hum aap sab se apne nayi dulhan introduce kar sake. Yeh hai, Ranbir ki patni, Kanya Godbole!

Kanya and Ranbir stood up together. As the cameras clicked, Ranbir bent over and whispered in Kanya's ear.

R: Dekho, tum yahaan kuch ulti seedhi mat karna. Yahaan humare news channelwale hain.

Kanya threw an angry glare at him.

K: Main jo bhi karun usse tumhe kya lena dena?

Ranbir, who had his arm around her waist, pulled her in tight.

R: Tum aisa kuch nahi karogi.

K: Darro mat, main Big D aur mummyji ki bahut izzat karti hoon. Tumhare wajah se main unhe publicly badnaam nahi karungi.

R: Fine.

K: Fine.

He let go of her suddenly and she staggered for a minute, losing her balance. She glared at Ranbir who gave her an evil smirk back. As cameras flashed, Kanya put her small hand on Ranbir's large shoulder and smiled at the cameras.

'I hate you.' She said, through her smiling teeth.

'Same here, babe.' Ranbir growled back.
