Part 27

Recap-The nephews and nieces hideaway in the bathroom overhearing everything Ranbir was saying to Pooja under the goonghat thinking her to be Kanya. All come out laughing at the practical joke they played on Ranbir. Kanya shares her good news with Ranbir. That they will now beome three.

Ranbir and Kanya go on their honeymoon out of India to see Chunnu. Kanya was missing him alot. They arrive there and stay at a hotel all day. Ranbir and Kanya spend the whole day together with Ranbir continuously kissing Kanyas stomach and speaking to junior. Everything in his life was coming together and Ranbir couldn't help but be thankful that things had moved on so fast.

K-Kya soch rahe ho?

R-That i am the luckiest guy in the world.

K-Woh to tum ho. Jiski paas main hoon woh to lucky hi hoga na?

R-Apni mu se apne tareef.

K-Aur nahin to kya? Janaab kis ke saath ho.

R-No seriously Kanya. If U weren't in my life i don't know what i would have done.

K-Ranbir without me I'm sure U would have been loving your life as the hate Guru. U wouldn't have found any woman and i would have been happy that koi ladki tumhe nahin mila kyun ki tum mere liye bane ho mere pyare saand.

R-Kanya U have bought colour in my colourless life. I used to find all this lovey dovey thing so wimpy and a waste of time. I can't help but reminise all the times that i belittled U. I've even strayed from the straight and narrow.

K-Tum bhi meri rangeen life main khali badal leke aye thi.

R-Is that so? (Looking at Kanya with his serious expressions)

K-U R soo easy to wind up. Mere tiger tumne mujhe meri zindagi aur humare pyar ko ek moka di hain jiski mujhe kab se intezaar thi. As for U straying i already knew about it.

K-Woh Archie ajeeb jaisi behave karahi thi. Aur usine clue di thi.

R-Why haven't U mentioned this before?

K-At the time I understood. It hurt alot to see this side of U with Archie. Then U became mine and i just wanted to put it in the past like a bad dream. I thought tum mujhe bataoge sach main kya huwa par aisa kuch nahin huwa. Ranbir lets not go over the past. This is our life now and i swear if U so much as look or touch another woman then main tumhe jaanse mardalungi

R-I can't believe this. All this time U kept this all to yourself. I don't deserve U!

K-I know U don't. I do not condone cheating on anyone just because they think the other is playing away. I didn't want to lose U for good and knew U were having a hard time dealing with the past. I would have pulled Archies hair out but i knew U would drift even closer to her.

R-I'm so sorry honey. I've been such an a**. I will never do something daft like that. I've even stopped drinking.

K-I noticed that was another clue.Since then U have been by my side no matter what and Archie's helped us get together.

R-I love U too much. Never leave me.

K-Leave U. I'll have to think about that.

R-Mazaak acha karlete ho.

K-Whose saying i'm joking?

R-Kanya tell me tum mazzak kar rahe ho.

K-Nahin kehti. Tumne kyun mujhe kuch nahin kaha? Tumhare dirty secret ke baare main.

R-Kis mu se kehta. Kaise kehta? Main waise be kitna bara idiot hoon lekin ghoom tha hoon jaise mujhe main kisi baat ki darr nahin ya phir main hi khabie galti nahin kartha. What if tum mujhe chod ke jate i wouldn't blame U.

K-Mere Sher tum sach mujh ke bhuddu ho. Think about the future not the past huh. Aggar aise dobara karoge na to mujhse buri koi nahin.

R-I know.

K-Ab tum mujhe tumhare baahon main lete ho ya phir abhi chod ke chali jao.

R-Mazaak main bhi aisa baath nahin karna.

Ranbir leans back and gives Knya a devilish smile and tried to take her sadness away and gives her the biggest kiss he could. Kanya gives him as good as she got and nearly knocked the wind out of him . He'd noticed ever since she got pregnant she'd taken reign over taking the lead when ever they were intimate. She was on fire and that kind od scared him and excited him at the same time. Kanya couldn't get enough of Ranir. She just wanted him all the time. Mind you she wanted him no matter what state she was in but she liked being in control with Ranbir as he was always too careful not to hurt her or the baby. They spent the rest of the day in.

R-U sure know how to make me go crazy.

K-I can't help it if i have that affect on U.

R-Effect i think i'm more of a puppet and your the master. Tahts the way i always want it.

K-So cute but i want My danger don't mess with guy back. Tum to bohot caution lete ho.

R-Maybe this side of U turns me on.

K-Maybe i want the other guy back.

R-He's on vacation until then U will have to do with me.

The next day Kanya couldn't wait to see her friend. She knew Ranbir brought her to see him. It was after all the home of Chunnu. She was over the moon. It would be over 6 or 7 months since she last saw him. This time round she knew how to behave round him, the difference between friendship and love. She loved the fact that Ranbir had stabilized their friendship in the business sense and even saw Chunnu as his friend.

Ranbir was glad Kanya was his wife and rued the day he ever thought he was better off being single. He'd gained a good frined in the form of Chunnu. He tried his hand in modelling brands which passed their post production and were already airing in the US. He wanted Kanya to see it as she hadn't seen the end product. He was dreading it in a way as there were many girls feeling Ranbir's hair with styling products and shampoo wearing skimpy clothes. Chunnu had joked that Kanya won't notice.

Ranbir dropped Kanya off to see Chunnu in hisofice where a drained pale looking Chunnu was staring at Kanya and Ranbir. He dropped his file he was holding and had his mouth open. Ranbir came in and started waving his hands in front of Chunnu's face. Kanya rushed to Chunnus side letting go of Ranbir.

C-TTTuuum! Dono yaha! What a surprise.

K-Chunnu a pleasant one i hope. Why R U looking at me like that as if you've just seen a ghost.

C-Woh.....Woh.....kya hain ke main business me kya woh maine socha ke main sapna to nahin dekh raha hoon.

R-I see we came at an inconveniant moment.

C-No man come on. Yeh hum dono ke business bhi hain. Stop being weird. So whats brought U guys to the Big Apple?

K-Honeymoon and U.

R-Well we thought we might as well see U and then just hang out.

C-Well i'm busy now but dinner. We have to out bro yeah.

R-Sure.

C-Yeah tomorrow night and we'll spend the da showing Ranbirs photo shoot and the comercials we made.

K-Well see U soon.

Both Ranbir and Kanya felt it was so strange the way Chunnu was behaving. They decided they would go see Chunnu's Mom as Kanya never got to see his Mom Tara. So they head out to Chinmeys house where they recieved the shock of their life when they saw who it was that opened the door.

Part 28

Recap-Kanya and Ranbir visit Chunnu in America but he seemed pre-occupied so Ranbir takes Kanya to Chunnu's house to see his Mom Tara.

Tara opens the door and welcomed Kanya and Ranbir home. She had a baby in her arms. A little boy. He was so tiny probaby a few weeks old. Kanya wanted to know whose it was. She was dying to hold him in her arms. Ranbir couldn't help but smile at the little one. Tara gave the baby to Kanya in the living room. Kanya just made cooing noises and funny faces. Ranbir was just in a trance and could see Kanya with his own baby. In 5 or 6 months time. So this was what Chunnu was hiding. He just wanted to know who the lucky lady was.

T-Itne saalon baad main Kanya ko dekh rahi hoon. U seem at home with the baby. Koi news hain kya?

K-Aunty main maa ban ne wali hoon aur Ranbir ke saath honeymoon pe ayi hoon.

T-I can tell. U have that glow that new mums get. Well U will make a great Mom i can teel with the way U R with the little one.

K-Yeh bacha kiski hain?

T-Chunnu ki koi friend ki but i think he has a soft spot for her. Woh aati hogi. Baby keli woh nappies lene gayi hain.

R-Looks like Chunni ki bi kisi ladki ki saat chakkar hain. Yeh bacha uski hain kya?

T-Nahin. I never asked but the mother didn't eant to reveal his identity.

R-I wonder who she must be?

K-I'm a little curious. I wanna see who it is.

R-Well i never knew Chunnu had secrets. He never told me about it.

K-Look at him Ranbir he is so cute. I want my baby now. I can't wait to hold this one in my arms. Ranbir U take him in your arms.

R-Kanya i think he's better off in your arms. I'll probably squash the poor thing in my arms.

K-Stop being stupid aur isko lo.

T-U guys remind me of myself and Chunnus Dad he was the same too. Ranbir lelo. U will see how he makes U feel.

R-He's so small.

T-H's gone bigger. He was a little premature by a month i think when Chunnu brought his Mom here.

R-Naam kya hain iski?

T-Krishna.

K-Ranbir he looks kind of familiar.

Tara got Ranbir and Kanya some things to eat while Ranbir played with the baby. Kanya knew that Ranbir would make a great Dad but he was stressing over the smallest things. He'd seen the three month scan and jus could believe that they created this magic and now Kanya just wanted to catch this moment on polorid and Show Ranbir what she could see.

T-U have a huge model on your hand Kanya don't keep him out of your sight.

K-I know i saw some of the picturs and told Ranbir off for enjoying it a little too much. He thought i was serious.

R-Tara she threatened to kill me when she saw the advert with the 5 women. I swear i kept myself locked up.

T-U kids enjoy the rest of the footage. I'm sure Ranbir's got a copy at home hidden away.

R-That copy i keep hidden i could never live it down otherwise.

K-I only get it out to torture him.

T-I better put Krishna to sleep. His mom should have been back by now.

Tara took the baby upstairs leaving Kanya and Ranbir downstairs. The door opened and in came Archie zoomin past. She looked a little plump but it was Archie alright. She had a bag full of diapers and some new clothes for the baby. Ranbir, Kanya, Archie just froze looking at one another. Archies gaze went down a little and just looked at Kanya not managing to look at Ranbir in the eye. Kanya just felt like a truck hit her. She looked at Ranbir he was stone faced but she could tell he was confused. Ranbir was slow on reading emotions but he could see guilt and fear on Archies face.

K-So this is where you've been hiding away. I made countless phonecalls and left so many messages and here U R in Chunnus house. I'm guessing tje baby is yours.

A-Yes. He's mine.

K-Who's the father? Chunnu?

A-He is the father in more ways than one.

K-It's Ranbir's isn't it?

R-Archie what is going on?

A-R U blind? Can't U see i played U.

K-I can't believe U did this Archie.

R-What possessed U?

A-Look Ranbir my aim wasn't to hurt anyone but i'm a woman. I have needs and i could see you wanted Kanya but i had no right over U. I wanted to be a Mom more than anything. I'm 35 and decided that if i can't have Ranbir then i will have the next best thing a child and that too Ranbir's. I made sure he was drunk and took advantage of him. I made sure i was expecting when i steered Ranbir to your arms. He was always yours. I just borrowed him. Ranbir always loved U. He hated himself but it wasn't his doing. I told him telling U would be like suicide so he never told U anything. I just hinted that something wrong might have happened.

K-I want to hit U so bad and just react but having a baby of my own i can see it from your side but Archie U not telling Ranbir or me about the baby is wrong in so many levels. We had a right to know.

A-I Know but Kanya i truely want nothing to get between U guys and this baby would have been too much. I don't have it in me to forgive myself so i wouldn't expect u to. Ranbir please say something.

R-I need air. Kanya we R leaving. I'm outside.

Ranbir leaves while Archie tries to get Kanya to see her own side of things. Kanya could understand what Ranbir was going through but she didn't know how to react. The damage was done but leaving it in a fragile state wasn't the way to go. Kanya never expected this but atleast there wasn't a typical Ranbir Nanda showdown. Kanya was mad at Chunnu for not revealing this to her he was supposed to be a friend.

K-Archie don't expect me to give U a lecture but this far out. Ranbir's waiting for me but i'm not going to hurl abuse at U or bother questioning U. Give him time. We'll work something out.

A-I'm sorry. I thought staying away from U would make this easier. I guess theres no escaping secrets. Kanya i deserve everything i get.

K-Look enjoy being a mum. Krishna is beautiful. He looks like U but now i can see Ranbir in him(Kanya now in tears)

A-I know. Kanya i'm sorry.

K-I need to go.

Kanya grabs hold of Ranbir and leave Chunnus house reeling from what they'd witnessed. Ranbir just didn't know what to feel or react. He just couldn't believe Kanya's strength. How could she be handling all this and not break down. He just felt betrayed by a friend he thought was a friend. They both go back home and just reflect.

K-Ranbir mujhse baatein karon.

R-Kya? I can't believe she could do this.

K-Ranbir i know this is bad but its done now. We have to move on from that for this little one. U have to forgive Archie otherwise it will eat U up.

R-How can U say this Kanya? After what she's done. Lash out do something at me. I'm the culprit. Don't U feel any anger?

K-Ranbir. I can't afford to lose it for the baby and U. Don't U think i hate this . I wanted to give U your first child and now i've lost that chance. I wanted this pregnancy to be magical for the both of us but if U spend all your time in past looking back then whats to look forwards. Main thing is how we deal with his situation.

R-I don't know what to do?

K-Be a Dad and be there for whatever Archie needs U for.

R-I don't deserve U Kanya.

K-I know U don't. Joking but please think about what i said.

R-I'm going to strangle Chunnu!

K-R U?

R-Well maybe have a word with him.

K-Good.

R-How R U holding up?

K-I'm strong Ranbir but i need U to co-operate with me.
