She did just as she had written, she marveling at the words that spread out on paper. Nine pages, single spaced, all in uniform and neat printing unlike anything nervous hands would do. She took only a minute to wonder and 'what-if' and think of what could be (should be, but she couldn't and wouldn't think that) before strengthening her resolve and slipping the journal into a loose board in the floor of the room she shared with anjali and muskaan. Just then anjali and muskaan entered the room.

Anjali: hey ridz tum yahan floor pe kyun baithi ho?

R: voh.. umm. actually.. umm.. I lost something

M: kya khoya?

R: rubber.. haan rubber

An: rubber? Ridz humse le leti. God tum bhi na bilkul pagal ho.

Muskaan started laughing. And you know how she laughs. Riddhima was too upset to laugh with her so she made an excuse and went out of the room.

An: muskaan I think she was hiding something

M: pata hai. Uska journal hoga.

An: wat?

M: haan. Jab bhi voh upset hoti hai toh apne journal mein likhti hai aur kahin chupa deti hai.

An: and pray why didn't you tell me this before?

M:bhool gayi thi. And ek diary thodi na important baat hoti hai.

An: forget it. Chalo uske aane se pehle uska journal dhoondhte hai.

They searched where ridz was sitting and found a loose floorboard. And beneath it was the journal.

Mostly entries were about her family or about studies but they were shocked to read the last entry.

At night around 3 am Armaan woke up. He was sure that he had heard some one close the door. But he didin't find anyone. As he was about to lie down. His eyes fell on a pile of papers kept on his bedside table.it was his bedside table, meant that those papers were for him, so he decided to read it.

hey sagarika, lovely part, can't wait to see those changes mentioned by Ridz in Arman, she is in for some shock, for sure...great yaar, do continue writing...
